Raquan pov

i was layin in bed watchin tv. i looked at the clock to see its 6:30 i looked at my phone to see i have a message from jessica

jessica-

hey how do i suppose to dress?

Me-

casual

i got in the shower, brushed my teeth and washed my face. i went into my walk in closet and put on my blue plaid boxers.

i walked over to faith room and knocked on her door. i heard her say 'come in' i walked in.

"hey faith can u braid my hair into two?"

"yea get a comb and come on" she said

i got a comb out of her bathroom and sat on the floor. 10min later she was done.

i looked in the mirrior and i liked it i gave faith a hug and ran back in my room to see its 7:15.

i go in my walk in closet and put on:

*khaki cargo pants

*orange polo shirt with green horse

*nike zoom KDs VI shoes green & orange

*silver rolax/silver chain/diamond earring

i sprayed on some axe cologne. i look at the time and it was 7:40. i walked down stairs to have mom stop me.

"boy were u goin lookin like me" she said wit a smirk

"date" i said grabbin my keys. i felt my phone vibrate and it was jessicas address. "i gtg before im late" i said rushin out

i hopped in my car and put the address in the GPS. i got there 14min later it was 7:59.

i knocked on the door to have a man open the door.

"hello sir im here for jessica" i gave him my best smile

"malissa!!!!" he yelled

i had a confused face malissa? i smiled when i saw jessica come to the door.

"hey quan" she said smilin

"hi beautiful" i said

i took her hand leading her to my car. i opened her door for her as she got in. i looked back at the man that must me her father.

"have a good night sir" i said

"u too" he smiled closin the door

he seems nice. i got in the car and looked at jessica.

"malissa is my moms name" she said i just nodded

"can u skate" i asked drivin

"alittle" she said

i smiled as i parked. i got out the car and opened hers. i held her hand as i got the tickets and skates.

we sat down to put them on. i helped her with her skates. she stood up and almost fell but i caught her.

she wrapped her arms around my waist as i skated to the floor. i unwrapped her arms and took one of her hands as we skated side by side.

we skated for 45min around a circle with jessica grippin my shirt every 5min. shes cute when shes scared.

we took a break and got something to eat and drink. of course i payed. we sat down and talked about random things.

"who did your hair? and srry not tellin u earlier but u look good" she said eating a fry

"my sister did and u look georgous as well" i said smiling "ur father seems nice"

"he is but he flips sometimes i never see it comin" she said

we talked more and skated again. it was 10:30 and jessica had to be home by 11. so we put the skates back and left.

i pulled up into her driveway. i walked her to her door as we faced eachother.

"i had a good time raquan"

"i did too" i said we were in silence until i had an idea "im leavin in 2 days and i was wonderin if u can come with me and my family too chicago for a month" i said

"i have to ask my dad. come in?" she asked

"sure" i said

she opened the door to see her father on the couch watchin tv.

"hey dad can i ask u something?" she said walkin over to him

"wat is it jess?" he said

"can i go to chicago wit friends and their family for a month i swear i will be safe" she asked wit pleading eyes

he sat there lookin at us both for about 10 min until he said

"sure ill give you money" he said

he pulled out a hand full of cash until i stepped in

"she doesnt need money sir i will pay for everything" i said bein honest

"are u sure" they said at the same time

"yes im sure" i said
