Prologue

Cordelia's POV:

Ring!

Ring!

Ring!

What the hell?

Ring!

Ring!

Ring!

What is making that ungodly sound?

Riiinnnngggg!!

That's it. I opened my eyes annoyed at the thing that disturbed my peaceful sleep. Ohh!! That's what it was. It was the alarm clock of terror. You know the ones that won't stop ringing until you get your lazy bum out of bed? Well that's the one and my very kind parents saw it fit to get one that rolled around the room so that I won't be able to squash it like the bug it is.

I screamed at the top of my lungs in annoyance which is very loud for your information. My dad came in my room with a bat in his hand with his hair looking disheveled and his eyes wide looking for the danger in my room.

"What's wrong?" Daddy asked. "Who's in here?"

He even screamed "Don't rape my daughter! I will give you money! Please don't hurt my baby!" with his eyes closed.

I burst out laughing at how hilarious he looked and soon after he began laughing to because he got a glimpse of himself in my full length mirror on the door of my walk in closet. I wished I had my phone to video tape him. It would have gotten a million views and more on YouTube.

"Young lady, be downstairs for breakfast in an hour please" dad ordered me and left my room after he recovered from his laugh attack.

Do you know why I screamed? Shush don't tell anyone but it is MY 18th BIRTHDAY and my dad didn't even seem to have even realized although I have a big calendar with a red circle around today's date and my birthday written in a blood red marker. I mean who could miss that right?

Sorry! I forgot to introduce myself. I am Cordelia Grey and I am now 18 years old. I am an only child but not a bratty spoilt one although I sometimes use the perks as a plus. I am officially an adult. My parents are notorious for being one of the most successful hotel owners in America. They are Sebastian and Amy Grey. You might have heard of them. Anyways back to me. I have two dogs named Jake and Judy and they are the most adorable poodles ever, I have a rabbit Mr. Cuddles and a tank of fish which I don't really pay attention to. Oh yes! My best friends are Maddy,Rose, Jesse and Simon. I don't have a boyfriend and I have never been on a date so I am very inexperienced. I know how embarrassing right? Well I am proud I am still innocent okay! Don't judge!
