This was a joke right?? She couldn't be missing!! I just saw her yesterday. "When was the last time you seen her?" The officer asked. "Umm, yesterday" I answered. "Where?" Huey asked, sounding desperate. I sat on the step. "I was walking home when I noticed her just sitting in the middle of the street. I knew she was always up to weird things. I talked to her, but didn't really try to put in enough effort to get her out the road. I just shook it off and kept walking home" I told them. "You saw her and left" Huey asked, trying to attack me. "I'm sorry" I said. "We have to look for her" Huey said. "I'll get Y/n and Cindy. They can help" I suggested. Everyone then gave me blank stairs. "What?" I asked. "No one can find Y/n. She went all M.I.A." the cops informed me. "What?!?!" I asked. "No. We were just talking, she was just here texting me" I said. "When?" Granddad asked. "Before I came down" I told.

"Where would Y/n hide?" the police asked, as we walked up and down the streets. "Hide?? What do you think she's hiding from?" I asked. Everyone then looked at each other, but avoided me. "You think she has Jazmine?" I said. "It makes since" Huey started. "They got into a fight on thanksgiving and then suddenly Jazmine goes missing" Cindy finished. "You too Cindy. That was about a month ago. She wouldn't!!" I shouted, defending Y/n. "What are y'all folks doing at this time of night?" A familiar voice asked from the shadows. "Uncle Ruckus?" we all questioned. "That's me. See I noticed your"--- as he continued talking, I slowly crept into the shadow, leaving everyone.
I ran towards Y/n's house to check on Josiah and Christopher. I knocked on the door and Josiah answered. "Sup" he said. "Where's your sister?" I asked. "I don't know. Last time I seen her she said she was going to run errands. I assumed she was going to see you. She never came back" he told me. "When did she go 'missing'?" I asked putting quotations around the word missing. "Around 5-6pm" he told me. "That's when Jazmine went missing" I said. "Jazmine's missing?" Christopher asked from the couch. "Yeah" I said sitting next to him. I heard the front door shut and Josiah sat next to me, putting me in the middle of the two brothers. "Do you think"--- Josiah's question was cut off by the sound of the patio door sliding open. "Josiah!! Christopher!!" A female voice called. "Y/n?" I called. "Riley?" Y/n's voice questioned. I gave her a hug and a peck on the lips. "Where were you??" I asked. "Well I went to run errands, but on the way back I got stopped by polices who told me that they would take me home. On the way I stopped at a station to check and see if mom was home, but she said she wasn't coming tonight" she explained. "Why are the cops everywhere?" she asked. "Jazmine's missing" Chris and Josiah said together. "And they think you took her" I added.
Y/n's POV "What?" I asked. "I didn't. I saw her, she was walking around in the street when I left" I told them. "We have to tell the police" Riley said. "She started running. I just don't know why" I added. "Someone was chasing her" Chris said. We all have him a 'no dip' look. "We have to find her" I said. "Let's go" Josiah said, running out the door.
