6. Raging Waters

I am swimming in the deep blue sea,

Waiting for somebody to find me.

It seems like I've been swimming forever.

And when will I possibly get out?

Never.

The raging waves, suffocating me,

Maybe my life just wasn't meant to be.

I finally found the exit, I climbed onto the shore,

But in a short while those waves pulled me back in for more.

I cried for help, I screamed and I shout,

I only wished for somebody to show me the way out.

To keep me from drowning in these perilous waters,

A sea which was known to only bring slaughter.

To swim to the shoreline is for what I strive,

And maybe my dedication will keep me alive.

Desperately trying to float, I saw the outside,

But in the battle to dry ground, sadly, I died.
