It was the first day of September. It was also the first day Jaxon had gone to school after the death of his dad. He didn't say anything to his mom. He just walked passed her. No kisses. No hugs.
When Jaxon got to school, he didn't want to go in. (me everyday lol) He had thought of a crazy plan. He hesitated, but thought for a long time. He wanted to kill his mom. (I know, "wow, thiago! pretty graphic stuff!" ikr) His plan was just to kill her by how, she potentially, killed her husband. He was going to hang her. As he thought of the plan, he realized that he was late to class. It was worse for him because he wasn't even on campus yet!
Jaxon became angrier than he had been in August by lunch. He tried to think about the reason why all this happened. And then he remembered. Jaiden. Jaiden was the reason why Mom and Dad had fought. Jaiden was the reason why Dad had walked out of the house, resulting in his hanging. Jaiden.
As he walked towards June, who was sitting in front of Jaiden, June tells Jaxon, "Hey, um, we need to talk. In private."
"Ok." He replies.
They walk to the outside to the outside lunch area were they didn't look suspicious.
"Ok, what's going on? Where were you last month?" June said.
"Ok, I guess I can tell you because I trust you. My dad had died." Jaxon replied.
"Oh! Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry bunny boo!" June replied with a shock.
"He was hung." Jaxon said as he started to cry.
As he said this, June began to cry.
"Wait, why?" She replied.
"Long story short, my mom and dad fought about Jaiden on how my dad thinks it's ok for her to like girls, he then left the house, and was hung. It's even worse that he was hung in my backyard." Jaxon said.
June couldn't reply. She just kept crying.
"June, don't tell Jaiden, but I hate her." He said.
"Wait, why?" She replied.
"If she didn't like girls, my dad wouldn't have died." He said angrily.
"Jaxon, you can't blame this on her! It's your parents' fault for not liking the LGBTQ community, not her's!" June replied angrily.
Jaxon was surprised on how she responded to him because he was raised that women shouldn't respond to men, even if the man was wrong.
Jaxon let out his anger by grabbing June's arm, bringing her to the farthest part of the outside lunch area where no one could see them, and punched her arm. This day is the day that the abusive side of Jaxon, as we know from Dani_Merlino 's book, starts showing.
