Christmas morning was amazing for the King & George family. It was a fairytale for Emerson. The feeling Jordan gave her, it was indescribable.Jordan hobbled around Opry Mills on his crutches, his girlfriend next to him. Little did she know, everything was about to change.
Emerson's hand laid gently on Jordan's back as she was mesmerized by the colorful lights in different shapes. Some shaped into trees, and other iconic Christmas decorations. Some lit up nativity scenes of Jesus Christ at birth.
"Where'd everyone go?" Emmy asked, quickly looking around her Jordan, not seeing any of their family in sight.
Jordan laughed, "Perfect timing." He muttered, just as the stopped in the middle of the giant Christmas tree.
Carefully, while still holding himself up with his crutches, Jordan took Emerson's hand and pulled her against him.
"Jordan," Emerson sighed, "What are you up too?"
Jordan let go of Emmy's hand and scrambled through his pockets. He gave a sigh of relief once he felt the small box in his fingers.
Slowly, the box was revealed and Jordan opened the box.
"Emerson Jolie, my love. We've only been together for a year, but I've loved you for five." Jordan looked down, a smile coming to his lips. "I'm gonna get straight to the point. I've loved you since sophomore year, and that's never deteriorated. Baby, will you marry me?"
Emmy nodded as tears ran down her cheeks. "Yes, Jordan." She whispered, "I'll marry you."
Very carefully, Jordan took Emerson's left hand and slid on the diamond ring. He laughed, "Now the question is; can I kiss you without falling?"
Emerson giggled, gently cupping Jordan's face and pressing a light kiss to his lips. She pulled back slightly, "I love you so much, Jordan Michael."
"I love you too, babe. I just wished I could've gotten down on one knee." Jordan whispered, carefully holding her waist.
Tyler stood back, out of sight of the two. He smirked and yelled out, "Did you say yes?!"
Jordan scoffed and rolled his eyes.
"Go away, Tyler!" Jordan shouted.
"Come on, let's go." Emmy giggled.
Jordan sighed, and carefully leaned over, kissing her cheek. Jordan grumbled under his breath as he managed to turn around and hobbled towards the rest of his family. Emerson couldn't help, but to laugh as she walked with him.
"Please tell me you said yes," Ashton begged Emmy.
Emerson nodded, "Of course I did. How could I say no that handsome face?"
Tyler snorted, "Yeah, okay. Handsome."
"Shut your mouth." Jordan groaned, "We look alike, dummy."
Addie shook her head, comparing her two brothers. She answered with, "Nah."
"Jordan looks more like James Bay, and super cute with his long hair." Emerson stated, winking at Jordan.
Jordan laughed, "I am bae."
Ashton frowned and tsked at her brother. Shaking her head. "Please, don't ever say that."

Jacquelyn smiled as she watched Emerson admire her ring and snuggle into Jordan. Unconsciously, Jacquelyn snuggled into Tyler, just as he wrapped his arm around her waist.
"Aren't they cute?" Jacquelyn whispered, looking up to Tyler.
"Nah." Tyler joked.
"Shut your mouth." Jordan sighed, not even looking up.
Emerson giggled as she leaned up, kissing Jordan's cheek. Tyler just simply laughed; brothers do what brothers do.
"Will you boys ever be nice to each other?" Emerson asked.
Jacquelyn shook her head, a smug smile coming to her face. "Probably not."
Emerson nodded, "True."
"Wow, babe." Jordan scoffed, "I feel loved."
"You should. I did say yes to you." Emmy giggled. Jordan smiled and gently kissed her forehead before laying his head on top of hers.
Jacquelyn smirked, "I'd better be getting a niece or nephew within the next few year."
Emerson blushed and looked down at her lap. Jordan laughed and looked up at Jacquelyn. "Possibly, one day."
"Alaina George." Emerson whispered, "I love it."
"Alaina? What if it's a boy?" Jordan asked, smirking at his fiancée.
Emerson grinned, "A family name. Michael Jordan."
Jacquelyn smiled, "I like that, it's cute."
"So we're talking about baby names now? We haven't even started to discuss the wedding." Jordan stated, rolling his eyes.
Emerson giggled, leaning up and quickly kissing Jordan and then snuggled back into his body. Jordan let out a short breath and tightened his grip.
Emerson grinned up at Jordan, gently squeezing his thigh. "You are lucky that I love you."
"I love you too," Jordan murmured.
"Stop!" Jacquelyn exclaimed, flailing her arms about. "You guys are too cute!"

Emerson and Ashton stood in the kitchen baking cookies once again. Only this time, Addie was helping as well. Jordan sat at the table again, his guitar siting in his lap quietly.
"Is the ring pretty?" Addie asked suddenly, being curious about her new future-sister-in-law.
Emerson giggled, "Yes, it is."
"Can I see?" Addie grinned, looking up to Emmy. Jordan couldn't help it, he laughed as his fiancée showed his little sister her ring.
"Hey, babe?" Jordan asked, "How's the cookie dough?"
Emerson rolled her eyes, "You just want to eat the dough, don't you?"
She looked back, in just enough time to see the guilty face fade into a smile. Emmy shook her head and broke a small piece of dough off, then turned around.
Jordan grinned, laying his hand on Emerson's waist as she stepped towards him. "You know me so well, baby." Jordan whispered.
Emmy rolled her eyes once more and quickly kissed him, then dropped the piece of cookie dough into his mouth. Jordan grinned and hummed.
"How is it?" Ashton asked.
Jordan smiled, "Pretty good. I love it how my girl can bake and cook. She's a keeper."
Emerson smiled and turned around, going back to mixing another batch as Ashton cut out shapes, then Addie on decorating. Jordan just grinned to himself, he thought he was incredibly lucky to have her by his side. Jordan was correct.
He was lucky, and he was happy that he could realize that. Emerson was truly one of the best things in Jordan's life.
