The Trapping

Chapter Four

I wake up and find everyone gone. "Wha-" I manage to say before looking out to see Cat ordering our two new friends around with some raft. "What. On. Earth." I say walking towards them. "We are going downstream, the fast way. Look at the map, its completely empty over there from monsters, my best guess is we go to there and travel that way, the middle of the map is close to there." Cat says excitedly, waving the map in my face. "Chill girl, and why aren't you helping them?" She immediantly looks down at the map. "Um, just planning our route." Stalllllinnggggggg. Alright guys this story is getting quite boting you may think? Oh man just wait until the 'river road trip'. "Otter go fetch some long sturdy plants." Cat shouts at me and I sigh, walking off.

I find a small field of long grass, and start to 'harvest' them. I get back by noon and toss the pile down, exhausted. We all tie the raft together, and test it out some on a shallow creek. "Here's your paddles." Cat throws us each a branch with lots of leaves on the end. "We're gonna die." I say my tone falling. "No kidding," Amelia says, tossing the 'paddle' back and forth with her hands. "Ready... And... Take off!" Ethan shoves the raft and jumps on as we drift down the river. "I made snacks!" Cat says and we all sigh as she gives us each a small branch of blueberries. "Cat this isn't exactly fast..." I say as we lazily drift down the river. "Oh just you wait, they say around the center the rivers are deadly." I return worried looks to Amelia and Ethan. Sorry this chapter is so friggin short! Also for the LONG delay of writing chapters so I won't be able to do those other books like I said. Anyway I'm not sure how well this book is going :/ Merry Christmas Eve everyone!
