New story that I had a dream about

I was feeling it when I wrote it

so tell me what you think :)

I’ve always rejected my heritage ever since I understood what I was. I never wanted anything to do with anyone like my mother. My mother decided to reject it also because of my father- a human. So I believed that if she could do it then why not me? I never wanted to be some freak. But I can’t change what I am no matter how much I try to pretend that I was normal.

I looked at my best friend- Luke. He was a sweet little boy with strawberry blonde hair and green eyes. “You coming over today?” he asked not looking at my eyes. I smiled softly. I knew he had a crush on me and I suppose I liked him too. He was funny and sweet and adorable but I didn’t want to ruin our friendship. I shrugged looking at my phone.

“My mom wants me to come straight home. Something about our family in England.” I said rereading the message my mom sent me frowning. I knew my mom was from England but ever since she married my dad and had me they wanted nothing with her and now out of nowhere they wanted something. I didn’t have a good feeling about it either.

“I didn’t know you were from England.” I laughed and shrugged brushing the hair out of my face to show him my blue eyes. He gasped and looked down shielding his blush with his hair. I smiled softly because it was so cute.

“My mom is. She moved here and then got married to my dad and here I am.”

“No wonder you’re so sexy.” He said softly underneath his breath.

“What?”

“Nothing!” I laughed and shrugged. “Well I’ll see you after break?” I nodded shielding my eyes from the sun.

“Yeah.” I waved good bye to Luke as he rushed towards his bus. Thankfully my mom got me a car. I walked towards my car smiling at its beauty. I got in the car and started my iPod. ‘We are Young’ I smiled because I loved this song. “Tonight we are young! So I sat the world on fire!!” I shouted at the top of my lungs.

A lot of people looked at me and I just smiled singing.

I guess I should tell you my name Blake Stone and I was a senior in high school. Yes I’m a young man. I had brown hair with blue eyes that turned silver sometimes depending on my mood. I’ve lived in Mississippi all my life. It was ok I guess I don’t know what to say. I pulled into my normal sized house. My mom was standing outside looking fierce.

“Hey mom.” I turned off my car and took out my iPod. My mom had long chocolate hair that went down her back in large waves with big green eyes that held pain and loss. Something was wrong.

“Is dad ok?” I asked anxiousness filling the very core of my soul. My shook her head and I sighed in relief. My father had a dangerous job being a police. Humans were so delicate. “Thank God.”

“We need to talk Blake.”

I hugged my mother one last time. “You be careful ok?” she said once again. I nodded wiping my tears. “Listen to what they say ok? Don’t smart off to them,” she laughed uneasy and once again new tears came only to allow more to come from me. We hugged again like two girlfriends who were leaving each other. What can I say my mom was my best friend? My dad stood behind my mom looking out of place scratching the back of his head.

He had pitch black hair with the same blue eyes as me. He was handsome and fit, “Oh Sue let the boy breath.” He pulled my mom off of me only to wrap me up in a tight hold. I took a big whiff of my father sent. Fresh air and peppermint and tobacco. “I’m going to miss you.” he said and I laughed.
