"I haven't returned!"- Naruto FanFic

CHAPTER 3

The next day, I woke up at 7. Today's the day of the survival test! I hurry up and get dressed. I get out of my apartment and put my tiny bento into my kunai pouch. And I dash through the lively streets of Konoha and to the training grounds.

Just as I arrive, Sakura shouts at me. "You're late!"

"Oh am I? Has our sensei come yet?"

"No."

"Now there's your answer."

"But Kakashi-sensei told us to come at 5 am.", Sakura points out.

"Yes, but he never comes at the time he appoints.", I tell them. "He'll probably arrive at 11 am."

"W-what?!", Naruto shouts.

I waited hours with them. Ugh! Should've slept till 10!

"What's taking him so long? Why's he late again?", Sakura complained.

"Man, I'm hungry.", Naruto says holding his empty stomach. "Hey Korokawa-chan.."

"Call me Koro."

"Ok Koro-chan, would you like to go to Ichiraku Ramen after this?, Naruto invites me.

"Yeah sure.", I accept the undeniable request. It's ramen after all!

SASUKE's POV

Why am I feeling uneasy?

There's nothing special about her anyway....

..but what is this feeling?...

BACK TO YOUR POV

"I'll come too.", Sasuke for the first time speaks up.

"If Sasuke-kun is going, then I'll come to-"

"You're not coming Sakura!!", I snapped at her.

Kakashi-sensei puffed out of nowhere and interrupted our argument. "YOU'RE LATE!!!", Naruto and Sakura yelled, resulting to bang their their heads together.

"A black cat crossed my path so I took the long way.", he comes up with a fake excuse. "Ah Koro, your friend Harukyo arrived today."

"Who's Harukyo?", the others question Kakashi-sensei and I.

A familiar voice enters the scene. "That's me! Hey everyone! I'm guessing you're Koro-chan's BFFs! Does she still write in her notepad everywhere? I remember you always carried scrolls!...", Harukyo Kiyoshi went on and on about me.

"I'll wait for you after your test at your apartment. And I have spare keys.", she winked at me and transported with a jutsu. Luckily, I left my apartment clean!

I was almost gonna fall asleep at how boring this survival test sounds. And don't forget how comfortable I was.

"Begin!"

Everyone hops off into hiding positions.

Except for Naruto.

"You and me! Right now! FAIR AND SQUARE! Let's go!!", Naruto crosses his arms.

"You know, compared to the others..you're..a bit..weird!"

"Oh yeah, the only thing weird here is your haircut!", he charges at Kakashi-sensei.

Kakashi-sensei slips his hand in his back pouch. Naruto stops running and watches the movements of the grey-haired Jounin before him. "Shinobi battle techniques: Part one, Taijutsu, the physical part.", Kakashi-sensei pulls out his perverted book.
