Chapter 2

•Kageyama's POV•

'Kageyama..... Kageyama..... Don't.... go.....' Hinata mumbles in his sleep. The boke must be dreaming about me leaving him. When will he ever have trust in me? I'll never leave him... He should already know that.

'Oi, stop mumbling already.' I whisper in his ears and cuddle him. His hair smells nice, I love this scent of his.

'Kageyama-kun?'

'Wha?! You were awake?! I stood up but he pulls me back to his bed.

'Stay with me for a while...' Tiny tears fall from his eyes which made me coddle the shrimp. It must've been a terrible dream.

'What were you dreaming about? You were mumbling in your sleep.'

'A girl was going to confess to you so she wanted to go somewhere private. I thought you were going to turn her away but then you told me you'd be back in a second. You left me alone in the room.' He snuggles tighter to me.

'You're weird. Haven't I told you countless times? I won't leave you, ever.'

'I know that, but sometimes I get scared.'

'Why?'

'Because they're girls who have pretty faces and oppais. But i'm a guy and you're a guy too. We don't really belong together.'

'Who cares about oppais? I have you. I only want you ok? B- but it's not like I'm obsessed with you or anything, baka! Don't get the wrong idea...'

'I won't. Can we stay like this all night?'

'Sigh, it can't be helped.' I wrap my arms around him and we fall into a deep sleep. So deep that we didn't even hear our alarm so Daichi-san barged into our room and is currently giving us an earful.

'This is what I keep telling the two of you!! Now you're late for class! Daichi-san nags while we frantically prepare for school.

'You're too slow boke! Hurry up!' I throw his bag at him.

'I could say the same to you!' He throws my socks at me. We race to the school but it only resulted in us getting exhausted, not to mention being chewed on by Sensei.

'Haaaahh, classes are finally over. So excited for the field trip tomorrow!'

'Let's head over to the gym for a quick practice.' I  run at full speed.

'Ahh! No fair!' Hinata shouts as he catches up to me. Damn, this shrimp runs fast. I try to run even faster but the both of us aren't advancing any further from the other.

'Kageyama-kun!!' A girl suddenly jumps in front of us. 'Help me with the trash please?'

'Huh? But I'm not on duty today, and I've got club. Sorry.' I grab Hinata's hand quickly and ran but she grabs hold of my uniform tightly.

'Please! I promise I won't bother you any further!' She pleads annoyingly. Who the hell is she? Ahh wait, she seems familkiar. I think she's a classmate of mine. She did come out of our classroom and she's chummy with some of the girls in my class, but I don't know her nor her name. Hmmm, maybe I'll call her Girl A.

'Sigh, Hinata you can go ahe-' He's already running? Can't he even listen to what I say before leaving?

'Hinata?? Oi!' I call out to him but he ignores me.

'Um, Kageyama-kun? Let's go?' Girl A pulls me away forcefully. Tsk, what an annoying girl, can't she see Hinata's beating me to the gym? I hurriedly take the trash to the burner at the back of the school with her and run back to Hinata.
