Chapter 3 - It's Time To Erase It Completely

After fighting by words and actions, Gary has many questions inside his mind.

Why did you do this?

I did this for the two of you but why was I still being blamed?

I wanted you to be happy but why? Why did you get angry at me, hyung?

Later at 12 in the midnight, Gary goes outside to just walk here and there, then he hears a car driving towards his position...

As he checks about the driver, it's Mira.

"Ya Shin Mira, what are you doing in this late midnight?" he asked.

"And what about you? Why are you there standing?" she asked back.

"Just... walking and feel the fresh air." he answered...

"Let's talk inside my car." she suggested.

As they sit beside each other, Mira started the conversation

"Many problem, right?" he lifted his head towards her.

"How did you know?" he asked..

"Yaaaa... You forgot again that we've been friends for a long time, right?" she asked.

"Hehehee mian..." he said.

"I understand because you have many problems for a long long time... First, it's Spartace right?" she asked as she really knew about his problems.

"It's because.... it's really unfair for me...." he said as she looked at him seriously.

When he looks at her, she tells him to continue...

"When I liked Jihyo, I felt the pain because she has Jongkook... And then when I stopped liking her, they blamed me after only finding it out that she cried because of me... I wanted to ask myself day by day if I really deserved to feel this.... I wanted to ask that why should I have to feel this.... I wanted also to ask myself if I made a mistake to them to make me feel this pain... I wanted to ask why.... Why? Can you tell me why?" he said as tears falling down on him....

Mira also becomes teary-eyed after hearing his words... She patted his left shoulder.

"I think they didn't understand your feelings... They didn't know that you had endured too much for them to be happy... I also think that they didn't care about your feelings as they continued to feel the love to each other... They didn't know that they're so selfish..." she said about the possibility...

"Mira-ya... Until when do I have to suffer?" he asked.

"Now.... Until this day since you let go of your feelings to her... Let's start to live a happy life, especially you... What you did was right for everyone also... You know, seeing you like that, I can't stand it.... Your longtime friend is here to cheer you up... I'm always here for you..." she said as he felt touched about her words...

"Let's go somewhere... I know where you should erase your bad memories with Spartace..." she said...

"Let's go!" he said as he agreed.

"In this beautiful garden, had you erased your bad memories?" Gary asked as she nodded.

"Every midnight there's no people around there, so you can do that there." Mira answered.

When he goes there, he says something "SONG JI-HYO!!!!!! KA!!!!! JUST LEAVE AS MY ONE-SIDED LOVER!!!! PLEASE! DON'T MAKE ME FALL AT YOU ANYMORE SINCE YOU CAN'T LOVE ME BACK!!!! JUST ALWAYS SHOW YOUR LOVE TO JONG KOOK-HYUNG!!! I WON'T CARE ANYMORE ABOUT THE TWO OF YOU!!!!!!! JUST TREAT EACH OTHER AS SIBLINGS!! DON'T YOU DARE BLAMING ME IF THE TWO OF YOU BROKE UP SINCE I DON'T LIKE YOU ANYMORE! DON'T MAKE ME SUFFER AGAIN! DON'T MAKE ME FEEL THIS PAIN AGAIN! IF YOU STILL DO, THEN I WILL RECIPROCATE THOSE TO YOU!"

Then he closed his eyes and he waved his hands to erase those bad memories of him with Spartace. After, he went back inside the car with Mira.

"You did well, oppa!" Mira said as she patted his back.

"Thank you..." Gary said.

"For what?" Mira said with her puzzled look.

"Thank you for helping me to erase my bad memories and thank you for your time with me." Gary answered.

"No problem... You forgot it again that I'm your longtime friend!" Mira said to cheer him up and he laughed.

"What made you to say that the garden there is your place to erase your bad memories?" Gary asked.

"The truth was...."

Flashback

Jong Kook and Mira were studying in a same university... They were bestfriends then.

One day, Mira was being harassed by those strangers, and Jong Kook came at the scene to protect her. As he bet those strangers, he laid down his hand on her to stand her up.

"Are you okay?" Jong Kook asked.

As he asked that, Mira brought into tears and suddenly, she felt the hug from him.

"It's now okay... They were being arrested by the police now." he said as she nodded.

Later on, they went somewhere to eat, then after, he brought her home.

"Thank you!" Mira said.

"I'm sorry for being late, so no problem... Be careful from now on, oh?" Jong Kook said as she smiled and left her.

A day came that Mira found out about the news that Jong Kook and Ji Hyo are dating. As she found out about it, she cried a lot.

'It's very hard to love someone who can't love me back.' she thought while crying.

It took her a week to look like that.

Later on, she took a shower and put on her make-up to look good.

'It's time for me to move on...' she thought.

Mira met up with her Korean-American friend, Arianne. She's a successful computer engineer in Korea. She is also good in giving advices when it comes to love but without experience....

"I have to move on... I don't want to suffer so much just because of my love to him... He's not a right fit to become my partner... I have to..." Mira said.

"Is that what your heart wants?" Arianne asked.

"I don't know.... but I have a feeling that it's the thing that my heart wants me to do." Mira answered.

"Are you prepared to move on?" Arianne asked as Mira nodded.

"Just go to the beautiful garden later evening, then shout all of your bitter feelings that you had experienced then make a wish, oh?" Arianne said as Mira nodded.

"Thank you." Mira said.

Then later evening, Mira shouted about erasing Jong Kook in her life as the one she likes.

"Ahhhhh...." Gary said.

"From now on, you're now my priority... I'll go out with you whenever you have free time... When we're busy, let's give a text to each other, oh?" Mira suggested as he agreed happily.

"Then let's go home now!" Gary said.
