*Liams P.O.V*
Today is special, today I am taking in a new hybrid. My job is to protect them, care for them and train them for the real world. What I do is not out of simpathy, even though i have much for these beings, but to help them. I must admit, this was not my dream job. I always wanted to be a fireman just so i could save people.
Anyway, enough of my life story. I need to get ready. I took a quick shower, got dressed, and styled my hair to my liking. I think that's it.
As I pull up to the front doors of my work i notice that a few people aren't here. That's a bit odd. Normally everyone shows up, I don't see why today is different.
"Liam! Liam, I need a word with you!" Mr. Williamson, my boss, calls out to me.
I nod a bit signalling that I understand. He smiles weakly at me and walks back to his office.
"Well, Liam, I don't really know how to explain this. Do you remember Numbers 57382, 165616, and 165998?"
"Of course, Sir! They were the most endangered of the hybrids we have! Did something bad happen to them?" I ask hurridly.
"Yes. I hate to say it, but, it seems that Harry, Zayn, and Louis have met Niall Horan. Now- don't interupt me. They are in zero danger, actually, the shapeshifter is helping them."
"That is amazing, so why did you need me?"
He breaths deeply as I said that. "Please, just do the mission you are given," I nod hesitantly. "He is going to be the one protecting you." My jaw drops. This cannot be happening, this is all a dream.
