Third person's POV (At home)

"Hmm hmm hmmm all I want for Christmas is you." Lucy sang as she prepared Natsu's favourite dish, Flaming Chicken Wings. Topped of with mashed potatoes and capsicum salad. Tonight was Christmas and Natsu and her were going to celebrate it. Just the two of them. Happy went over to Wendy's just for tonight.

Suddenly she felt a pair of muscular arms wrapped around her waist. "That smells sooooo good Luce." Natsu whispered as he placed his head on the crook of Lucy's neck.

Lucy could feel the hot breath tickling her neck and immediately blushed. Even after dating for almost a year, she just can't help but feel embarrassed whenever Natsu does that. "Mouuuuu yamete Natsu. I can't cook if you're hugging me like this." Lucy complained.

"But I wanna be with you. Forever and ever. Promise me you won't leave me like Igneel. I don't want to lose you." Natsu pleaded.

Lucy felt Natsu hugged her even tighter as he snuggled between her neck. Lucy giggled as Natsu's hair brushed against her skin, tickling her.
She then turned around to face the salmon haired boy. Placing her cold palms on his warm face. Making him look her in the eyes.

"I would never leave you. I will definitely stay by your side no matter what. I promise." Lucy pledged.

"I love you Lucy."

"I love you too nats-mhhmm..." Lucy didn't even got to finish her sentence when Natsu's warm lips met hers. Her eyes widened but immediately melted into the kiss and responded passionately.

Their lips moved in sync as Lucy began to wrap her arms around Natsu's neck, pulling him closer to her and deepening the kiss. It felt like eternity before they reluctantly pulled apart, panting.

Natsu flashed his signature grin towards Lucy before kneeling down before her and pulling out a velvet box. He opened it and revealed a diamond ring, with the initials 'N.D & L.H' " Lucy Heartfillia, will you marry me?"

"Yes! A huge yes!" Lucy shouted happily. Natsu beamed with happiness as he slipped the ring onto his mate's ring finger. He got up and picked Lucy up, spinning her around.

That night sounds of happiness could be heard along with the fireworks that dominated the night blue sky...

Many years later...

"And that's the story of how your father proposed to me." Lucy explained.

"Wow! I had no idea Dad was so sweet." Igneel Dragneel, son if Lucy and Natsu commented.

"Yea Mommy, I always thought Daddy was a knuckle head. Who knew he could be so romantic." Layla Dragneel, daughter of Lucy and Natsu added.

Lucy laughed at her children's comments on her husband while Natsu pouted. Mumbling something like "Hey, I could be smart too you know." "Come in kids it's time for bed. I already told you a story relating to Christmas so start sleeping."

"But Mom..." Igneel argued.

"No buts young man. Otherwise your 're not getting any presents tomorrow." Lucy threatened.

"Yes Mom." the two kids replied simultaneously.

"Good night kids." Lucy and Natsu said. Then closed the lights and went to their bedroom. Natsu then gave Lucy a kiss on her cheeks and said " Merry Christmas Luce." "Hehehe. Merry Christmas Natsu." Lucy returned the kiss.
