Ash and Serena - One-Shots (Amourshipping)

Under the Mistletoe - Part 1

(Author's Note: Hey ya'll! Wanted to make a one-shot based on the holidays. Without further ado, let's get right into the story! ;) ~Lia)

It's the most wonderful time of the year. The holiday where gifts are shared, families unite, and where love grows. The Lumiose siblings, Bonnie and Clemont had stayed near their campsite, as Ash and Serena began to walk around town, fetching some gifts for the holiday.

"Hey Ash! I found this really cute shop that I'd really want to- ... Ash?" Serena began to look around, spotting a raven haired boy, staring at a red dress that Serena had wanted ever since the journey started. "This is what I'll get Serena, for sure!" Ash had clenched his first, and gave a little nod. Determined to get that dress.

"Hey Serena! I'll meet ya back at camp! I need to care of things!" and with that, he ran off, leaving a disappointed, and upset Serena behind.

Ash's P.O.V.

I ran off, the price of the dress hasn't been official yet, so in the meantime, I decided to get some gifts for my Pokémon, Bonnie, and Clemont.

*36 minutes later..."

I began walking to the shop which had Serena's gift. I had gotten Bonnie 3 pokéballs, which I'm sure will be useful once she's old enough to be a trainer. I've gotten Clemont a tool box, which also contained a few tools that'll help for his inventions. I finally arrived at the shop. Only to find that the price of the dress had been bought. Not only that, but it was 5000! 5000 pokédollars.

I sighed, fixing my cap "I couldn't afford it anyways. " "Oh man... what will I give to Serena?" I said aloud. Serena...I have to get her something. She's the most sweetest girl I've ever met....I mean, besides, Misty...and Dawn, Misty....maybe Iris? I needed to get an amazing gift for an amazing girl. My thoughts were interrupted as a certain piece of jewelry that had caught my eye. This is what I'll get Serena.

Serena's P.O.V.

I was on my way back to the campsite, I had my gifts wrapped, for Bonnie and Clemont. Ash? HIS was the most difficult. But I have something that'll satisfy him, for sure. My delicious poképuffs! 10 of them were placed in a woven basket. And is topped with a piece of ribbon Ash had given me when we had started our journey. I had gotten Clemont a new screwdriver, which was awfully expensive. But I knew he'll love it anyways. I've bought some beautiful hair clips, and hairbands for Bonnie. And lastly, for Fennekin, a big pink bow. I wonder what Ash must've gotten me.

'Twas the season. Today, is Christmas. Children were laughing, smiling, and were receiving gifts from their loved ones.

Meanwhile, back at the campsite...

Clemont, Bonnie, Ash and Serena had exchanged gifts. "Awe! You guys are so thoughtful!" Bonnie exclaimed as she placed her pokéballs in her purse, pinned a couple of the hair clips in her hair, and cuddled her newest Pokémon, Marill, in her arms. (Clemont's gift to Bonnie) Clemont, of course was also thankful, although, he left early to get started on his new invention. As for Ash and Serena.... "Hey Ash, here you go!" Serena says as she handed her gift to Ash. He happily opens the basket. "Wow! Thanks Sere. You know me so well, haha" Ash replies. Serena tucks a hair behind her ear, blushing at the nickname Ash gave. "Hey Serena?" Ash says. Serena looks up to face him, notifying him that he's got her attention. "Is it okay if I hand my gift later? I'm sure you'll love it. I just wanted to make it a bit more special." He says, scratching his left cheek. She blushes, and happily nods, lost in thought of what he meant by, "making it a bit more special". "Oh well, we'll find out tonight."
