Back Story: Derek had met Mable when they were young. Derek and Mable had some of the interests. Because of This Derek had a small crush on her. A year later Mable had to move away and left Derek behind. This left Derek's heart to be crushed. Derek met Cindy and they liked each other. They then started dating a bit. After about a year and a half Derek's feelings for Cindy changed and he didn't like her anymore. Mable moved back into town and went to Derek's house to say hi. Derek texted Cindy and said it was over. After catching up with each other Derek and Mable became friends again. Derek liked Mable but little did he know she liked back. A year later Derek confessed and that's how their relationship started. Him and Kayla have been best friends with each other since preschool.
