The war between these districts continued, into the year 2145. In all the chaos, a woman lies in her hospital bed, going into labor. She shouted and sweated, wincing as she pushed the baby out of the womb. After hours of this, the baby was born, and she smiled, nearly cried hearing the young boar cry out. "It's a boy!" the doctor smiled and began the necessary procedures to keep the pig healthy. The father was right by her side, still holding her hand as he caressed her cheek. "Baby, we did it, we're going to have a son!" he said smiling at her and kissing her. He noticed that she was weak, and her skin was pale as ever. Her heart rate monitor began to beep slower, signaling that her heart rate was below average. The doctor set the baby on the scale and rushed over to her. "She's going into cardiac arrest, sir, I need you to step back." he said as the father stepped back, with worry in his eyes. He contacted a few nurses and they rushed in to help. He began to perform CPR, compressing her chest. After this fails, he was handed the defribulators. He rubbed the together. "Clear." one of the nurses said as he pressed them against her chest, shocking her heart. He took them off, but her heart rate had reached zero. Her husband began to sob. "Clear." the nurse again as he shocked her heart again, still, no response. The doctor tried again, but to no avail once again. He set them down and sighed. "Sir, we're sorry...she passed..." he said solemnly. He broke down, looking at her cold and still body. The nurses walked out, taking the medical equitment with them. The doctor recorded the pig's weight and picked him up, carrying him over to his dad. "Here sir..." he said as he handed him over. He was still devastated by the loss of his wife, but he found some happiness in looking at the pig. The youngling had curled up in his arms, his head leaning on his chest as he slept. He smiled as he still cried. "Hey...buddy." he sniffled lightly and continued craddling the child. The doctor smiled at this. "He's a healthy boy, be sure you take good care of him." he told the wolf. He nodded in reply. "Now, here's his birth certificate, however, I need a name." he said with a pen his hand. He thought about what him and his wife agreed on. Evan. "His name is...Evan...Evan Nunley." tears were still in his eyes. He wrote the name down and handed the slip of paper to him, smiling at him. "Also, we'll...cover the cost of your wife's funeral service." he said, now looking at him seriosly. The wolf nodded as he started sobbing again. "T-thank...you." he said. "You go home and get some rest, I'll fill out her death certificate." he said, putting his hand on his shoulder. He walked out of the room, with the child in his arms. He had to fill out a few papers at the front desk to take him out with him. The nurse there gave him her condolences and he walked out of the hospital.

"Are you the guy I contacted?" a wolf asked the hyena. "Yes, my name is Dannic."the rainbow haired hyena shook his hand. "I'm Grayson, and this is my son I talked about." he smiled as Evan stepped forward. Evan was a blue color, with cloved hands a feet, as well as a curly, pig-like tail. He wore a plaid hoodie with casual blue jeans. "Nice to meet you, Evan." he said and smiled at him. He blushed out of shyness. "Nice to...meet you...too." he said, seeming to cower a bit. "He's just shy...he's always been like that." his dad chuckled. "Grayson, you reported something supernatural to me?" he asked, cocking an eyebrow. "Oh, yes! Evan, could you show him?" he asked his son. Lines began to form around Evan's face. Dannic continued looking as this happened. The lines formed rectangular sheets of paper as they peel off of him. "I've never seen this before..." the hyena had a face of fascination. "I did some researche myself, he's a paper master." Grayson said to him. The paper then began to come back to Evan, forming his face and taking his normal apperance. "He could prove useful in this fight, and you may check on him if you so choose." he said to the wolf. "Evan, would you like to live with this man?" he asked him. He wanted to say no, having become comfortable with his dad. "Y-yes..." he said quietly. "Alright, buddy." he smiled and hugged him tightly. "I'll miss you..." he said, smiling. Evan hugged back and nuzzled his chest, starting to cry. "Hey now, why the tears?" he asked him. "I-I'm just...I love you...and I don't what could happen to you..." he sobbed as Grayson caressed his head and ears. "I'll check up on you, I can be there whenever you need me, alright?" he said as he smiled at him. Evan nodded and wiped his eyes. "Go with him, he won't hurt you." he smiled at him as Evan followed the hyena. He waved bye as the hyena put his arm around his neck, trying to make him comfortable with him. They turned when they reached the curb, his father walked to the car and began to cry himself.
