Lestat x Rosaleen (Lestat Love Story)

~Lestat's POV~

I mind connected Louis and told him I was going to be home late but he just kept asking questions, it took over an hour to convince him that I would be home soon. I told him that I needed to feed but he wanted to come, usually I wouldn't mind but what he didn't know was that I wasn't actually going to feed, that was a lie.

I was going to see Rosaleen, she interested me even more than she already did and I wanted to know more about her. Louis finally stopped being nosy and accepted that I wasn't gonna be home for a while, I went back to her house and flew up to her window and went inside. I saw her sleeping in her bed and all I could do was stare at her in curiousity but admire her at the same time. She was so beautiful.

It felt like my heart had started beating, she sent chills up my spine. Time went by faster than expected and i knew it was time to get back home to the depressed one. I kissed her forehead then jumped out to window and ran home as fast as my legs could carry me.

I got home Louis was reading a book, I scurried past him and to the piano then sat down. I placed my hands on the keys and started playing a soft melody, I felt as if something bad was gonna happen soon to Boo and I couldn't let whatever it was happen. I'm supposed to protect her and that I shall do. Wait, Boo? Where the hell did 'boo' come from? Oh well, looks like I gave her a nickname.

~Narrator~

Lestat felt the need to go check on Boo, so he drank a few humans and headed to her place. He observed her home and surroundings to make sure everything was okay, he couldn't shake the feeling that something horribly wrong would happen. After about 2 hours, at 2am, Lestat could smell hear footsteps approaching, a lot of them. He rose on the branch, keeping his balance, his eyes focused on the crowd of people. His heart dropped when he realized someone had flamming torch.

The humans broke down the door and ran in, grabbing Rosaleen and her parents. Her mother desperately tried to free herself in order to get to her husband and child, Rosaleen's father had gotten free and attempted to use his magic but a gunshot went off causing Rosaleen's mother to scream as she watched her husband fall to the floor, dead. The people dragged Rosa and her mother outside and tied them away from each other on separate wooden posts, they gathered a pile of sticks around them.

Lestat jumped down and raced towards Rosa's home, he knew he had to save her.
