Lestat x Rosaleen (Lestat Love Story)

~5 years Later~

~5 Years later~

*Rosaleen's POV*

Its been 5 years now me and Lestat are closer than ever and I'm 15 now turning 16 in a couple weeks, I woke up bright and early then walked down the stairs I looked around for Lestat I failed to find him then look at the clock 6:45 AM its even more early than I expected.

Suddenly I gasped and ran outside I flew onto the roof and watched the sun rise all silver, gold, and orange its so beautiful up.

I smiled then it fell memories of my family came back we always watched the sun rise together because it made us feel like all our troubles floated away and the only thing left in the world was love, peace, and hope.

We didn't have this killing in the world, rapeing kids, kidnapping them, etc. The world has come to something terrible and nobody is doing anything to stop it.

I just wish things as gold as sun rises and sun sets stayed forever but it can't.

Nothing gold can stay

I suddenly remembered a poem by Robert Frost and said it out loud

"Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour,
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay."

I sighed then went back into the house I turned on the radio and one of my fav songs came on by Stevie Wonder.

I sat on the couch and made a little ray of gold appear in my hand I smiled and thought of a movie "The Outsiders" it was my favorite movies from the old days and since I'm a witch and worlock I age slowly.

I kept watching the ray of light in my hand a tear slipped from my cheek I started crying because more memories flooded my mind I kept getting flash backs of my father teaching me to dance to this song and my mother cooking cherry pie in the kitchen.

All of us laughing, playing with the neighbors, having a good time, never having to worry about being apart, we stayed by each others side no matter what, everybody we knew was family....but.....it's all gone....I've lost it all.....my family.....my friends....home....gone....and its my fault, I cried harder and harder.

~Lestat's POV~

I saw Boo crying and walked over sitting by her she jumped and looked at me then after realizing it was only me she jumped into my arms and cried even when she was in tears she looked beautiful I held her close "plz don't cry Mi Amore" she sniffed and soon fell asleep I kissed her forehead and spoke lowly "you'll soon me mine my love".
