Chapter 17

-DANE-

It’s easy to say that you want to be a doctor. But the process of becoming one is lengthy, expensive and extremely challenging. Once you’ve learned about the different types of doctors, and picked the field that interests you most, you can look into the specific training and education you’ll need. 

That is the very reason why i love to be a doctor. I took a medical course. I know i have that business blahblahs. I am not the one who built it so technically, hindi talaga akin yun. I want to make my own business someday, Yung matatawag kong akin talaga. Galing sa dugo't pawis ko.

So i'm currently here at my room studying. I have to work hard. Hindi porket mayaman na kami ay hindi ako mag aaral ng mabuti. I have goals and dreams i want to achieve, and i'll be reaching it on  my own. 

"Daaaaaneee!!  time to eat. Leave that for a while" dwyne exclaimed excitingly. Okay, hands up! walang study hard study hard sa kain!

Bumaba na kami, i found magee  , rie-ann and shayne already in the dining table habang pababa naman si riri. 

"Woaaahhhh, chicken curry!! Sino nagluto??" sabi ko at isa isa silang tiningnan. It smells so mothereffin good! 

"Ako" shayne proudly said.

"Do you love to cook?"  tanong ko. I've got an idea

She smiled proudly again "Yeah. Cooking is my passion"

"great! ikaw na magluto habang buhay!" 

They laughed and i saw shayne pouted.  This kid! lol

Nagsimula na kaming kumain. We had little chitchats and decided to go to our own rooms. Mabuti at busyng busy kami ngayon sa upcoming exams. We would've been enjoying our asses off right now.

I was concentrating on my studies when i heard my phone rang. 

Oh, its mom. 

"Dane, is it true?! Have you been going to clubs? Oh my god! Ano bang ginagawa mo sa buhay mo? I expected so much. So much from you that it hurts knowing what you've been doing now."

huh? What's she saying?  anong ibig---

"And dont expect me to believe you. The photos i saw were enough." 

Photos? What photos? CLUBS? wtf!?

She ended the call. 

I was speechless the whole time. Ano bang pinagsasasabi niya?

I tried to call her all over again pero hindi siya sumasagot. Even my dad. 

Who could've done that? UNBELIEVABLE!

"Sinabi niya yun?"  i nodded at dwynes question. I was really shocked and i felt like i needed someone to share my problems with so at breakfast kahit mamaya pa ang klase namin, we woke up early, nagjogging sandali. We gathered in the sala and i told them what happened last night.

"Dane, ewan ko ha. But you only have one enemy na survivor ang dating. I am not blaming anyone but i think, i think lang ha. Its anika. You said she's your cousin, or some kind of relative? whatever. But she's the closest to my suspects. Kasi alangan namang si shaian eh wala naman yung alam sa pamilya natin." shayne. She has a point there. 

Baka nga si anika. At baka nga hindi si anika. I can't blame her directly, wala namang evidence. Although i really think its her,  i should just let it go for now. Kapag mangyari pa to ng ilang beses. That bastard won't like what im gonna do.
