Blowing In The Wind

ch.1

Kashi-

My bare feet hit the dirt as my blue summer dress blows in the wind. My black wavy hair is cascaded down my back and my eyes reflected the universe.

My older brother koji chased after me. I laffed as mud splattered across his face when I threw a mud ball. " I'm gonna get You! " he sed playfully throwing a mud ball at me.

I quickly turn towards my left and doge the mud. I stopped and koji quickly caught up. Only to stop in his tracks as well.

It was beautiful, the lake gleaming in the sunshine but all around the lake were trees to make a perfect shade spot. The biggest tree had vines on a branch that would be a perfect swinging stop into the lake.

Rocks at the base of the tree made it so you could reach the first Branch from there you could climb all the way to the top. It was perfect, and koji had the same idea.

"This is our tree, Kashi. This is our spot." he smiled his goofy smile. I hugged him. "Your the best koji!" that's when we hear our mothers voice call from the distance. " Children your dinner is ready! Hurry Before it goes cold!"

" race ya!" I yelled and took off toreds home. " Hey! Cheater!" koji yelled and soon started running home as well.

This was the happiest day of my life, it was also the one memory that keeps me happy.
