"For fuck sake, turn it off!" I moan as I aggressively hit my alarm clock. I'm not a morning person at all. "Sofia, were leaving for work, see you later!" screamed my mum from the bottom of the stairs. That's one benefit of my parents working on the weekends - I get the whole house to myself. "Bye sweetie, see you later, love you," my dad also shouts from the bottom of the stairs. "Bye, love you too!" I scream back as I slam my head on my pillow.

>phone rings< Megs💩 is calling you.

Urgh, who's calling me at 9 in the morning? "Uh, hey megs what's up?" I answer the call as I get out my bed reaching for my gown and slippers. "Don't you know what day it is? Where are you?" Megan said with an angry tone. I look up to my calendar over my bed. 'Twilight Marathon Day with Megs!' . "Shit Megs I'm so sorry, I'll be round in a sec, I'll make it up to you, I'll buy us more popcorn and sweets" I said to Megan, hoping that she would forgive me. Megan and I can eat popcorn, chocolate and that in the morning, that's one reason why our parents find us weird, we can eat anything at anytime. "Okay fine, but don't take to long, we're already behind schedule," Megan said. "Okay okay, I'll see you in a bit!". I immediately run back upstairs and put on some black ripped jeans, red converses, a white short sleeved top with a dark red adidas jacket. I chuck in some pyjamas and a spare hoodie and run out the house.

As I reach the minimart, I start to search through my purse. I wasn't looking for money, I was looking for my lucky penny. I get panic attacks without this penny, I know it sounds crazy but I've had it since I was young. It's always kept me safe from bad dreams and bad times. I feel like whenever I have it with me, I always get some sort of luck. Without realising I'm already half way into the store, my lucky penny falls out my purse and starts to roll down the isle. "No, no no shit!" I said to myself panicking whilst I followed the penny down the isle. It suddenly hits a strangers foot. As I went to grab my penny I ended up holding hands with this stranger. "Oh, erm sorry," I say to the stranger as we both start to stand up. "It's alright," the stranger says with a smile as we both make an awkward eye contact. "Er, I guess this is yours?" The boy with glittering green eyes smiles at me again, whilst handing over my lucky penny. Oh this penny has given me good luck. "Thank you, er" I say to the boy whilst I wait for his name. "Oh, I'm Ethan," Ethan replied with a smile. "Well thank you Ethan, I'll er see you later,".

I walk over to the front checkout where I grab some sweets and chocolate. "That'll be $4.54," I hand over the money and leave the store.
