Meanwhile on the other side of town..
Amani's POV
*********************************Ever since my parents died early this summer, I haven't been the same. What's made it worse is that me and my twin sister had to move up here from New Orleans to live with my aunt.
Man this isn't fair! I thought, Life isn't fair! As I rammed my fist into the wall. Tears swelled up in my eyes as I mourned the deaths of my parents. They weren't perfect but they were mine I don't know how God could take them away from me.

(That's where I got my musical talent from.)
I loved my parents. Now all I have is Amara, music, and basketball. And in that order.
I turned over on my side with tears still streaking my face not looking forward to the second day at this unfamiliar school and city.
I don't know if I'll get used to this. I thought as I drifted off to sleep with anger, pain, and fear in my heart of the future...
