Labour?!

~a few hours later~
My mom and I are in the shopping centre and since a few minutes my stomach is hurting really bad. The whole day my stomach was hurting but right now it is getting more painfull.
"Ashley? Your alright?"
"I don't think so mom." The next thing I know is that my water breaks and I scream in pain.
"Mom? My water just broke."
"What? We have to get to the hospital and we need to call your dad also." I nod and we drive to the hospital together.
Well I didn't expect that my day will turn out like this.

~two hours later~
I have been in labour since two hours now and it is processing really fast. My mom called my dad as soon as we got to the hospital and they haven't left my side since I got here. But my pain is getting worser and my dad left one hour ago because he couldn't see me in so much pain. But my mom promised him that she will call him as soon as his granddaughter is here. I cry in out in pain as a next contraction shoots thought my body. I look at my mom as she wipes away the tears that have fallen from my cheek.
"Mom? Can you please call Shay? I really need my buttah now." My mom nods and walks out to call Shay. A few seconds later a nurse walks in and exams me.
"And how are you doing?"
"I haven't thought that I am in so much pain but other than that I am fine."
"Your really strong. Your about 7cm along and it won't take much longer. What are you getting?"
"A girl." The nurse smiles and tells me that she will be here in around an hour. Just as the nurse walks out my mom comes back into the room and sits down next to me.
"I called Shay and she will be here in around 20 minutes." I nod and begin to cry. I haven't thought that giving birth hurts so much and I am suprised that I am doing so good. My eyes get heavy and my mom smiles.
"Ashley you can sleep and I will wake you then." I nod and drift off to a peacfull sleep.

When I wake up I have a strong contraction and cry out for my mom.
"Mom?" A few minutes later my mom is beside me and Shay is also here. I hug her and smile.
"Shay. Your here."
"Of course I am here. I wouldn't miss the birth of my niece." The doctor comes in and exams me again before she smiles at me.
"Alright suit yourself and on the next contractions you are going to push." My mom and Shay stand beside me and I nod. This is it. I am giving birth to my daughter where I have waited for this moment since 9 months and the moment is finally here and I couldn't be less terrified as I am now.
