What better way to start off this book than with Levi's birthday? Yes, it is December 25. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEVI!!!!!!!
Everyone gathered in the dining hall, murmurs of excitement filling the room. Today was not only Christmas, but Captain Levi's birthday as well!
"All right, listen up!" Hanji shouted, gaining the attention of all the excited cadets in the room. "As most of you know, today is Christmas, so you will all have the day off." A few cheers erupted from the crowd. "But what most of you don't know is that today is also Captain Shorty's birthday. I need your help to get a party ready for him!" Some gasps were heard. "I'm going to need someone to distract Shorty while the rest of us set up the decorations," Hanji began again. "It'll only be for a short while. 20-30 minutes or so." With a psychotic smile on her face, she said, "who is brave enough?"
At that point, everyone backed away, leaving a young, (h/c) haired girl at the front of the group.
"Ah, (Y/n), thank you for volunteering!" Hanji said, walking up to you and grabbing your wrist. You looked at Hanji, a confused expression covering your face. You hadn't been paying much attention to the conversation since you knew most of the information that was given. What you hadn't expected was to be volunteered to distract the stoic Captain until the party was ready.
Not that you minded of course. You did have a small crush on the Captain, after all.
Hanji began dragging you to Captain Levi's office. Finally stopping in front of two large wooden doors, she let you go, whispering a 'good luck' and handing you a few papers before taking off in the direction you just came from. Sighing softly, you raised a hand to the door, giving it two good knocks before letting your hand fall back down against your side.
"Name and business," said a deep voice from the other side of the door. Captain Levi. A nervous sigh escaped your lips before answering.
"Cadet (Y/n) (L/n). Hanji asked me to bring you some documents."
"Come in."
Taking a deep breath, you slowly pushed the door open, walking inside and clicking the door shut behind you. You walked up to Levi's desk, where he was currently seated. He looked up at you, holding a hand out for the papers, which you handed him quickly. As you did, your fingers brushed against his own, sending a small shiver down your spine.
"Thank you," Levi said as he look the papers over before putting them into a drawer.
Now what? You asked yourself. What am I supposed to do now? How can I distract him for over a half hour?
Levi's eyes slowly lifted from his paperwork and on to your figure. He could tell you were in deep thought by the way your head was tilted down, eyes focused on nothing in particular. Your weight was on one foot and you nervously played with the sleeve of you jacket.
"Will that be all, Cadet (L/n)?" The question brought you back down to earth, your head snapping up and your (E/c) eyes met steely-blue ones. The moment you attempted to speak, you froze in your tracks.
Looking at the man before you, you realized just how handsome he looked. His jet black hair was sprawled messily about his head, a few bangs partly covering his eyes. He wasn't wearing his jacket or cravat, leaving him in a simple but elegant white shirt. You could clearly see his defined muscles through the shirt. He is built like a god! You realized you were staring when Levi stood from his desk, looking at you with amusement evident in his eyes.
