Ezra's POV
"I should go" We quickly broke apart and I looked the other way
"Yeah. Thats probably best. I also have some stuff to do"
"You found a new job? Or still looking?" She said
"Actually, I think i'm gonna stay home for a while and figure out what i wanna do next. I still have some money on an old trustfond my mom never took away from me."
She looked at me with concerend eyes. "You sure you don't want a new job. You've been home for some time now. Don't you want to do something everyday? Have something to wake up to? And besides you love teaching! Why would you wanna do anything else?"
"I think it's time you leave Aria. It's my life and you made it clear you didn't want to be a part of it, so mind your own business!" I emidiatly regreted saying that. I knew she would get upset and watching Aria be sad is one of the hardest things in life. I walked up to her and saw the tears starting to spread in her eyes. I put my hand on her Arm. She pulled away, took her purse and ran out the door. I could hear her sobbing down the hallway. Why did I always make her upset?! Maybe I should just leave her alone.
