Harry groaned as the alarm clock went off. He slammed a fist on the alarm, shutting it off in an instant. He rolled out of bed and rubbed his groggy eyes before doing his morning routine.

As he slid on his glasses and slicked back his hair, he looked in the mirror. He sighed and put on his best fake smile. He fixed his tie and slid on his shoes.
"It's Marcel time." He said to himself.

He grabbed his school work and jogged to the living room, where his mum sat waiting to see her son.
"Now, tell the principal if there is anymore bullying. I am not putting up with it, young man." She scolded.
"Yes, ma'am." He replied.
"Go, before you are late." She said.
"I love you." He said as he kissed her cheek.
"I love you too." She said as she shooed him out the door.

He walked to school, with no harassment, surprisingly. He walked into the building and to his locker. He saw his friend walking towards him with a smile.
"Marcel! Guess what happened to me!" Leeroy exclaimed in excitement.
"I haven't the slightest idea." He chuckled.
"The jocks told me to hang out with them! Isn't this great! I'm going places!" He said.
"Yeah.. to jail..." Marcel mumbled.
"What was that?" Leeroy asked.
"Nothing. I'm just worried for you." Marcel stated.
"Why- Woah! What happened to your face?" Leeroy asked.
"The jocks."  Marcel replied.

Leeroy kept quiet.
"I'm changing my look tomorrow. And my name. Call me, Harry." Marcel said.
"But why?" Leeroy asked.
"Why are you so nosy?" Marcel snapped.
"I'm sorry that I just want to know why all of a sudden you're changing." Leeroy defended.
"My mum told me to." Marcel groaned.
"Momma's boy." Leeroy added.
"I'm going to be with you on the changing part, then. Call me, Liam." Leeroy added again with a smirk.
"Copy cat." Marcel said.
"Only a follower." Leeroy stated.

Marcel rolled his eyes and walked to class. He sat in the front, next to a girl named Suzie.  He smiled at her and she made a disgusted face, which hurt his feelings. He knew he wasn't good looking, but he didn't know he was that ugly. He looked down at his desk and did his work silently. No one dared to talk to him.

The day went by slowly and painfully. Literally. The jocks were at school and they bullied poor Marcel. Physically, mentally, emotionally.

He finally got fed up with it when school was over. They broke his glasses, pulled his hair, ripped his clothes, and stomped on his shoes. He could only take a few beatings at a time, but now he was finally tired of being the damsel in distress. He needed to be the hero and save himself, since no one else would.

He drew his arm back and created a fist before punching a guy in the jaw. It was Billy.
"Ooh, he's finally sticking up for himself." Jack said with a chuckle.

Marcel smirked. He didn't take all those self defense classes for nothing. He kept punching and blocking, even kicking. This got the entire school's attention. The crowd around them got bigger and bigger until they heard a yell.
"That's enough!" The principal yelled.
"Everyone, to class! Now!" She screamed.

Everyone around them immediately vanished and it left the small group alone.
"I will be seeing all of you after school." She stated.
"You're all dismissed. Except for you." She said as she grabbed Marcel's shoulder.

He looked up at her, scared.
"We need to discuss a few things." She said.

She started to walk to her office and he slowly followed. Once they were in and comfortable, she started to talk.
"Your mum called me this morning." She said.
"Yeah?" He questioned nervously.

He moved his collar around with his index finger to indicate that he was nervous.
"She said there was bullying." She said with a lower voice.
"I want you to report it to me if it happens." She said.
"Yes, ma'am." He replied.
"Those kids that were beating you up are the bullies, aren't they?" She asked.

Marcel nodded and gulped.
"They're suspended. For a week. Now was that so bad?" She asked.
"No, ma'am." He replied.
"Your mum also said you were going to change?" She asked.
"Yes, ma'am. Call me Harry, tomorrow and I'll be different in almost every way." He chuckled.
"Yes, sir." She said with a smile.
"Well, school's about to end. I'll see you tomorrow, Mar-Harry."
"See you too, Mrs. Mary." He said in a deeper voice.

She shivered slightly and he stood up. He walked out of her office and out of the school. He ran home. He didn't want to be found. He just wanted to get away.

He ran through the door and slammed it shut. He inhaled and exhaled sharply to catch his breath. His mum looked at him and her smile faltered. She cried again.
"What happened?" She asked.
"Another fight, but I fought back." He said.

She hugged him tightly.
"I don't want this to happen to you." She sobbed.
"I know. That's why I'm changing. For your sake." He said.

She hugged him tighter.
"I'm so proud of you." She said.

She let go of him and he jogged to his room. He took a long shower and got into his other clothes. He walked into the kitchen and grabbed a banana before eating it. He threw the peel away and jogged outside. He went for a night run and accidentally ran into a girl.
"Watch where you're going!" She yelled.
"I'm so sorry." He said.

He helped her up and looked at her face. It was his turn to fall down. The girl was Suzie. The girl he was once friends with. He stood back up and regained his posture.
"I better get back." He said before turning around and running home.

He ran into his room and stripped down to his boxers. He sighed before running a hand through his hair and laying on his bed. He closed his eyes before going to sleep.
