When Bridgette falls asleep I get up from my soft and comfortable queen-size bed and quietly tip-toe downstairs, making sure not to wake Bridgette and my parents. I reach the end of the stairs and look around for a minute. I walk over to the door and unlock it. When I walk outside I see how beautiful the garden looks when the moonlight hits it. I jog towards the gazebo and sit for a minute, the coldness of the bench seeping through my jeans. I look up at the glowing full moon and sigh."Why is life so beautiful?" I say to myself. Something shuffles from behind me. I automatically turn my head and see a figure standing over me.
"What do you want, Noah?" I ask Noah.
"First of all, how do you know my name? And secondly, what do you want?" he asks ignoring my question and putting emphasis on the word you
"This," I gesture around the gazebo and to my house,"is my home and don't dodge my question. What do you want?" I ask again clear and stern.
"I just wanted to see if you were awake, so I could annoy the hell out of you," he says flashing his sparkling white teeth at me. I turn and walk back towards my house. Well this night took a horrible turn of events.

"Ahhhh, let go of me!" I yell, hanging loosely on Ryder's shoulders.
"NEVER!" Ryder yells back at me. Out of the corner of my eye I see Ryder's parents standing by their car with no sign of expression on their faces. I hear Ryder mumble something under his breathe, but I don't recall anything that he said.
"What's wrong, Ryder?" I ask, furrowing my eyebrows. He puts me down and looks at me. I can see his eyes are wet with tears, but they don't come due to him fighting them back.
"We're hitting the road today," he replies then looks away. Automatically tears start to stream down my face. He looks back at me and cups my face with his hand."Please don't cry," he pleads, his tears suppressed all the way. I close my eyes and turn around, knocking away his hand away.
I hear Ryder's footsteps fade away as he walks away, but after a few steps he starts to run, but his steps aren't fading they're growing louder. He quickly turns me around and plants his soft and warm lips upon mine, causing me to pull him in closer than he already is. When his lips touched mine I felt like I was being reached out to from heaven. As quick as the kiss happened it ended and I was alone in my yard, leaving an emotional roller coaster running in my heart and mind. Ryder is gone. Forever.
~FLASHBACK OVER~
When I wake up I am alone in my room just like when Ryder left me in my garden the day he left. The last time I ever saw him. I wish he didn't leave and I regret yelling at him over the phone. I wish he didn't kiss me. I hate him for kissing me. No, I love him, no matter what he put me through.
I hear a vibrating sound and look over to my end table. My phone glows and Bridgette's name appears on it. I quickly grab the modern-day electronic and see a message.
GET DOWN STAIRS NOW!!! -Bridgette
I drop my phone next to me on the soft bed. What does she want? My decision is to get up and go downstairs. When I walk into the room I stop mid-step, from seeing the sight in front of me. I look him up and down. His crystal blue eyes staring right through me, seeing all the emotion that I wish I wasn't feeling: sadness, anger, and the most unwanted guest of them all LOVE.
"Elaina," he breathes. Catching myself off guard, I walk up to him in two long strides and then start to pound my fists on his chest, his well-built muscle-y chest. Immediately he grabs my wrists spins me around and wraps his strong arms around me. After thinking through what just happened, I let myself sink into his arms. His soft lips come upon my cheek and makes their way down to my shoulder. Chills run down my spine and he turns me around looking me straight in the eye.
"I love you too."
