SWR: Old Friends and New Enemies

Chapter 2

                 Kanan
Kanan sat in the co-pilot chair looking out of the huge window in front of him and out onto the scenery. It was now past noon and Ezra hasn't returned from the supply run they had sent him on. Worry began to build up in side him, unsure of his padawan's safety, closing his eyes he began to concentrate on Ezra's force signature and sure enough it was there safe and sound. With a sigh of relief he opened his eyes "I'm going to guess that he's safe " Hera said from beside him "yeah, but what I'm asking is what is taking him so long?" He asked "I don't know hun but maybe we should just let him be, then when he comes back we can let him explain why it took him so long" she placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder then walked out of the cockpit, he stayed therefor a bit then got up and left.

                    Mae
Mae had been in the cabin she shared with Sabine, but when the artist came in with a new set of paints and got to work with them, the fumes where just a bit to much for her so she got up and left telling Sabine that she was going to get some fresh air. Soon she was sitting in the main room of the ship with a data pad in her hands studying, the door to the cockpit swished opened she didn't pay attention to the person who walked in or out, and she hoped that if they came out then they wouldn't bother her, she also hope that they would get that the data pad was some kind of do not disturb sign. But that didn't happen because the voice of her new master Kanan broke her out of her concentration "hello Mae " she pushed down all her annoyance and looked up "Hi Kanan, is there anything you need my assistants with?" she asked as polite as she could because I'm in the middle of studying Mae thought "I am terribly sorry to bother you but, do you mind going out to the town and look for Ezra" Kanan asked although he tried not to look or sound worried Mae could see it she could feel it in the force, radiating off of him "yeah sure " she accepted his favor and went to put her data pad back in her room and grab her satchel, then she would head out to look for the raven hairedboy.

When the door opened leading to the cabin Mae walked in the paint fumes hitting her almost at once, making her cough "sorry I guess I should leave the door open so the fumes don't linger here huh" Sabine said as she moved her hand in a fanning motion "I'll just be quick I have to grab my satchel and I'll be on way " she said. Holding her breath Mae walked to her bunk and saw the her bag wasn't there, she picked up her pillow to see if it was there but no avail, "hey umm Sabine, do you have an idea where my satchel is?" Mae asked as she set her pillow down "yeah I put it in the chest so I wouldn't get paint all over it" Sabine then pointed to the chest the was in the back corner of the cabin funny I can't seem to remember that being there she thought but pushed it away right, now she just need to find her bag. As Sabine has said her bag was in the chest she pulled it out and put it on, she had gotten use to the smell of the paint so when she had left the room it felt strange.

  Mae had been walking for a while now the moon coming out, and there was still no sign of Ezra. She was about to head back to the Ghost to tell Kanan when she heard the firing of blasters. She poked her head around the corner five figures were running from stormtroopers and out of those five was a certain raven haired boy. She watched as they lost them in the maze of alleys, Mae had been so entreged in what was going on to the others that she hadn't noticed a stormtrooper sneak up behind her "what are you doing here ? " she turned around to see the barrel of the blaster the trooper continued "you're not supposed to be here" "why not" Mae asked as she tilted her head like a lost loath-cat "I don't have to answer anything now move along or I'll shoot you" the trooper took a step forward gun ready and aimed. With one quick swift motion Mae ripped the weapon from the Stormtrooper's hand the ignited her lightsaber the green light illuminated the dark alley, you could see the trooper tremble with fear.

          Stormtrooper
He was only on patrol, to report anything out of the ordinary, but when he saw someone in the alley he thought that this might be his chance to get premonted especially if this was a rebel. Now he wished that he ignored the stranger, on second thought he shouldn't have joined the empire at all, the girl ripped the blaster out of his hands, her green light sword was dangerously close to him, lightsaber is what they're called I think  he thought she stretched out her hand and out of nowhere he was pushed up against the wall her lightsaber was pointed at his neck " Pl - please d don't kill me" he begged "give me one reason I shouldn't " she snarled at him "I I have a aa f family " he told her and she only scoffed "I had a family once but it's because of you that they're not here that I'm not with them " she moved the lightsaber from his neck and hovered it over his shoulder "what's you name?" she asked as if this was casual conversation "m my name i is Buzfured"  "ok Buzfured I'll let you live " he sighed in relief completely forgetting the he was still pin to the wall "under one condition " a burning hot sensation on came from his left shoulder he turned his head to see the girl's lightsaber melting through his armor and closing onto his skin. He screamed in pain, the burning pain spread all over his body as if it were on fire, then it was all over and he was gasping for air "tell your superior that the plan, would soon be put into motion" she said. He struggled to stand but once he got up he staggered away from the alley away from the girl, he dared look back once he was a good ways away her lightsaber was still she held it up to her face that it covered one side of her face and the other half was over cast by its light, then she turned it off, he swore just mire seconds before she turned off the glowing sword that her eye that wasn't covered up turned yellow, but he didn't want to think about it he turned back and continued walking back to tell his superior.

                   Ezra
They had ran and lost them, and now they have been backed up into a dead end. Ezra was good at these kind of situations, but just before he could do anything, a slim figure jump from the roof, it was a girl he could tell because of the long hair. Igniting a lightsaber the girl cut the barrels off the blasters and force pushed the Stormtroopers back the figure turned around and faced Ezra and he only smirked "what the hell?!" the girl shouted as she turned off her lightsaber "relax Mae I totally had that" he said as he slouched a bit and crossed his arms over his chest "yeah it looked like you had that under control, but you know that's not the every reason why I'm here " she too had her arms crossed over her chest "aww come Ezzy was only having fun with old friends " Ashley stated "I don't care what he was doing" Mae barked back "come Ezra we're going back to the ghost and you're the one who's going to explain all of this to Kanan " right then and there Ezra mentally face palmed himself how could he forget, Kanan and Hera had originally sent him on a supply run "karabast" he cursed "I really have to go, see you later or sometime " and with that he and Mae walked back to the ghost.
