Crack went the wip as it smacked the air "get a move on you worthless pieces of-" thunder sounded drowning out the rest of the words. The man was a slave owner and seller, he didn't see them as living people he saw them as objects. The crowd was huge filled with different species, all whom where scared and frightened. Among this crowd was a young boy, his face was soaked with rain that mixed with the tears he cried. The boy was only 9 but that didn't matter to the slaver master , for he only cared about the money that came from each and every one of them "are you alright?'' a voice behind the boy asked he almost wanted to laugh at the question "no" he answered . They neared a gigantic ware house "get inside, I don't want any of you sick" the mean man yelled "because if you get sick that means I'll have to sell you at a lower price and I hate selling things at a low cost" he rambled on about how he had lost a good fortune getting medicine to heal some of the really good slaves so he could sell them for a bigger better price. The slaves were then pushed inside the enormous building , protecting them from the rain. "Males to the left Women to the right" on of the people who worked there said. The young boy was escorted to where the men were going, he then felt a tap on his shoulder causing him to turn around "are you ok?" a boy his age asked he had light brown hair that feel over his dark brown eyes just a bit, the boy's clothes were all tattered and worn out "yeah I'm ok" Ezra mumbled "I'm Mark by the way " the boy now known as Mark stuck out his hand and smiled 'how?' Ezra thought 'how could he smile at a time like this?'. He took Marks hand and shook it, forcing a smile himself "Ezra".
