"Are you ready, Kageyama?" Sugawara nudged the 'to be groom' beside him. Kageyama let out a sigh. He kept quiet, deep in thought. "Is anyone ever ready?" He wonders, but he smiles all the same.

Running footsteps came toward the corridor. Yachi, one of the bridesmaids poked her head in the room. "Come quick!! Tōru-san accidentally spat out coffee on Hajime-kun's tuxedo! Please help, they're getting into a nasty fight!" She dashes off.

"Bahahaha! Classical Oikawa's at it again!" Tanaka laughs and runs after her.

"Well, we better get going before anyone gets hurt." Sugawara chuckled and pat Kageyama on the back, walking out the room with the rest of the groomsmen.

A warm feeling settled in his stomach before following the rest.

On a warm summer's night, Hinata asks Kageyama a question. "What's so good about me?" A shooting star raced across the sky. They sat under a cherry blossom tree, stars reflecting against a lake nearby.

"Why do you ask?" Kageyama comes closer and wraps his arms around the smaller boy. "Its just.. I always wonder why you chose me. There's nothing special that I hold.. We're so different, you're always amazing at what you do and, me.." Hinata scrambled out of the hug and sat up, staring at the shimmering lake.

Kageyama sits up and puts an arm around him. "Don't say such things, and you know the saying, 'opposites attract'," he stops mid sentence and cupped his cheek bringing his face to his own.

"You bring out the best in me. Without you, what am I?" He slowly came in for a gentle kiss, Hinata kissing him back more passionately.

Perhaps he should've picked a better place. "K-Kageyama!" Hinata rushed to him and knelt down to hold him by the shoulders. "Are you okay!?" Kageyama knelt down with one knee while caressing his abdomen.

"Are you going to be alright? I'm sorry Tobio-san!" Tsukishima bowed down and mentally punched himself.

They were playing on an early Friday morning, warming up on their spikes and serves. Even though they graduated from highschool years ago, they still wanted to go back and reunite at the spot where Karasuno Highschool's boys volleyball team grew.

"Gah!" Kageyama groaned and tried to catch his breath. Tsukishimi on the other side of the court accidentally spiked the ball right on his stomach.

"Do you need any water!?" Hinata insisted with eyes filled of worry. "Yeah.. That sounds great.." Without looking back Hinata rushed to the nearest vending machine.

Less than a minute later and Hinata came back panting from his run to the vending machine all the way back to the gym. A fresh cold water bottle was placed in his hand. "Here you go Kageyama, I hope you feel be-"

He stopped dead in his tracks, his body shaking, eyes wide open. Kageyama knelt before him on one knee. "Hinata?"

He holds his breath.

Silence fell over everyone as the church doors open. Kageyama stands, still as ice, waiting.

You bring out the best in me. Without you, what am I?

He looks back to the night where Hinata asked him a question.

And he was right, Hinata did bring out the best in him. Despite his harsh cold side, the two slowly and naturally began to fall in love.

No one really knows when the two became a thing, but they just had this spark.

Here are the words that have simmered in the pit of his stomach, rising toward the light.

Hinata, in a soft creme dress walked up the aisle with Nishinoya accompanying him. His little sister Natsu, skipped around and threw cherry blossom petals in the air.

Finally, Hinata caught up with Kageyama. A bouquet of flowers in his hands.

Here is his future.

Their future.

Kageyama gulped down his anxiety and looked down at his beautiful Hinata.

He breathes.
