Chapter 2: Contemplating Life's Problems (Ciel's P.O.V.)

I am so done with this girl. Treating me like a child first of all, secondly making me feel this way! I love her so much... I've known her since we were children yet I still haven't gotten the courage to tell her... I'm a coward. So here I sit contemplating whether or not I should tell her. I may be Engaged to Elizabeth, But I've felt this love towards Y/n, and only y/n... What should I do though? I can't just up and walk to her and say 'Oh, I love you please be with me'. No. Life is never that simple. So I've decided to put that on hold for now. Until I find out if she feels the same. I've got an Idea. "Sebastian..." I called for my extremely tall butler.

"Yes Master Ciel..." I stood up from my seat and stretched. "I need you to find out if Lady Y/n has any feelings towards me... And make it as quick as possible..." He looked shocked but returned to a normal smile. "You don't really mean that do you? Surely this is a joke" I glared at him with all seriousness. "You're so blind to love Master... Can't you see she loves you dearly?" His words were comforting but I wanted to be sure. "How do you know that?" I sighed thinking of the ways that could be true. "Honestly, the ways she treats you is better than her closest maid and her smiled to you are a sign of happiness around you. So Naïve master..." Every part of me wishes it's true... But I still don't know. He could be wrong. "But let's be sure... Check for me, that's an order" He nodded before disappearing to wherever Y/n was. I truly hope he's correct.
