The General slowly walked up the stairs, keeping his gaze down toward the floor. One step at a time, he made his way up. He reached the top, and stopped in front of Mr. Smith. "Is he, the one they call, the package?," he asked. "Yes, we picked him up from his High School in his hometown. We left an excuse at the front office so he will be excused for the time being. What shall I do now, sir." "Get me some coffee, and be quick about it." "Yessir, coming right up." 'This place works just like clockwork doesn't it' Rex was contemplating to himself. 'I wonder what they need me for, I'm can't do much math, I need auto correct 24/7 when I'm texting someone, and I only have a 78 in AP Science. This is really confusing.'

"Follow me," ordered the General as he made a slow walk back down the steps.'This is going to take forever' Rex thought as he was taking one step at a time behind the General. When they reached the bottom the General made a sharp left turn. He began to walk toward a large desk in the middle of the room, though it was still quite a distance to walk. The General started to make haste, brushing past everyone in his way through the isles of computers. People either scooted in there chairs more, or they just avoided walking down the aisle altogether. Some had to smoosh between two people sitting down to make room for his path.

He reached the long table with Rex at his trail. He stopped and proceeded to talk. "Sit down".  He pointed at a chair next to him. Rex made his way toward the chair, when he noticed 5 other people at the table as well. Four of them looked like ordinary people. While the other looked like everyone else Rex saw at the facility, with a suit & tie, and a black briefcase. Rex had no idea where the mans eyes were focused on, because of his sunglasses, which confused Rex because they were inside. But the other 4, he knew were different, he knew that they didn't work there.
He could feel it in him. He proceeded to sit down in the chair. It was comfortable, with a silky seat cushion, and a nice soft back pad. He folded his hands on the table, and sat quietly.

He looked around, waiting for someone to speak up. No one did. The General sat down in a chair similar to Rex's. "All right. Now that we're all here. I need to tell you WHY you're here. This is going to take a while, but we don't have all the time in the world. So. I'll try to tell it quickly. But I won't skip the major details. You are all here, because you are related to ancient warriors."
Rex was in awe by the small amount of information that the General told him. He couldn't believe that he was important. Rex tried to think of who in his family could be even be close to being an ancient warrior. His Uncle Bob just sits around on his couch all day, watching tv and relying on his wife to do all his house work. His dad just works at a large office building in the city of Louisville. He kept trying to think of everyone  he knew after a while, but drew a blank.

'Why am I here? Is this even legal?'.But his thoughts alone were abruptly interrupted with a fist smacking down on the oak table. Rex was shocked and started to look around the table at who did it. A man in a dark purple cloak was leaning over the table standing up in an authoritative gesture. But, when Rex examined closer, he noticed his hands were smaller than the others, and thinner as well. The nails were long and skinny, and the part of the arm that Rex could see looked soft and elegant. Rex soon realized that he was actually a woman, the only one around the table. "This is about HIM, isn't it sir?', said the woman. The general, cleared his throat and his face grew pale. "Uh.. un.. fortunately, we believe to be so." The room was dead as a whisper as the warriors around the table shuddered in fear. Rex, unaffected and confused as to whom this person was and why he caused everyone to crumble with fear without even speaking a name.

Right when he was going to speak up, one of the warriors stood up, and sent his chair flying across the room. 'All it took was him to get up to create enough force for the chair to be moved away, he didn't even touch it" Rex thought. "That cannot be possible. The ancients sealed him away in the tomb of Plutos core a millennium ago," his voiced boomed through Rex's body causing anxiety to rush through him.

"If he's come back, it's over for all of us, our ancestors were barely able to seal him, and they were the greatest warriors this realm has ever had.Not only were they the most powerful beings that ever walked the Earth besides Jesus himself, but they were personally selected by God himself to be commanders in his elite army. Mountains would move out of their way, rivers changed directions, oceans roared when they were near. You're telling me he's back, then there's no hope for humanity or life at all." A couple of people started to cry in the corner of the room as all hope seemed to fade into nothing. Despair swept across the room like a shadow and nothing but sadness was left in their hearts. This was one moment that would change the rest of their lives, probably not in a good type of way, but one that would leave them to make the ultimate decision.
