The Broken Boy

Chapter 6

"Shut up Grayson" I say throwing a pillow at him.

He just smirks. Its been 2 weeks since I found that note on my bed.

Since then me and Grayson have gotten a little closer and we have hung out around 7 times since he apologized. We usually go to the burger place right around the corner but today i don't feel very good so I asked him to come over instead.

" hey Izzy can I get a drink?"

"Yea sure, what do you want?" I say getting up from my bed.

"Hmmm do you have pepsi?"

" yea ill be right back!" I say coming out of my room.

I run down the steps and feel a little dizzy. Hmmm thats weird.

I reach the fridge and open it but then I get dizzy again. What the hell?

I reach for the pop and get it out. I start my way back to the stairs but then I feel my legs begin to shake and I get dizzy then blackness overcame me.

Grayson's POV

Hmm she's taking a long time. I start to get up to go see whats going on when I hear a loud crash.

I jump up and run downstairs.

"Izzy!?" I yell but I get no reply. I start to freak out. Then i see her.

She is laying on the floor, pepsi in hand and unconscious.

-1 hour later-

-Izzy POV-

I open my eyes and see all white. I look over to see Grayson and mom. I'm in a hospital.

" hey sweety! how are you?" my mom asks.

" My head hurts really bad, other than that I feel fine."

"thank god" I hear Grayson say looking relieved.

"what happened? The last thing I remember was you asking for a pepsi" I ask Grayson.

"well I don't really know, I went downstairs to check on you but you were passed out on the floor!"

hmm that's weird my head is killing me.

"mom did I hit my head? it kills!"

"yea, the doctor says you have a slight concussion."

greaaaat another head injury. I look over and see Grayson staring at me with worry in his eyes. She is looking at him weirdly.

" hey Grays im gonna be fine!" I say

my mom speaks up,

" hey you look familiar!" she says

Grayson goes red in the face

'I don't know what your talking about" he says and gets up.

"hey' I have to go Izzy my ma wants me home" he bends over and gives me a hug and I immediately feel little tingles and butterflies in my tummy. hmmm that's weird..he seemed to feel it to because he shivers and leaves without looking back. what was that?! ive never felt that way before....

Hey everyone I know this is short don't shoot me. I will be updating again this weekend, I will try to update 3 times a week but they will be short chapters.
