Aura Benders

Chapter 3: The Country Tournament. 1 year later

So it's been six months. We've trained and trained and trained. About three months ago we were assigned a team that we would take all the way to college and into the Battle turns out Jackson and the others ended up being my teammates. Oh and I died my hair blonde again.

If ABA makes it past the Country Tournament within the next six months. We will be in the World Tournament!

Yes it takes six months to make it past the Country Tournament. Our Country takes the longest because we are 1. A huge Country. And 2. We are very over populated. Our school alone has 2,010 students (don't ask me how I know).

But anyways ABA is the biggest school in our Country so all of the schools will be meeting here today! And the Principal has asked Jackson, Riley, Sam, Frost, Forest, and I to greet the students from 3 out of the 6 schools and show them to the dorms. Another team is being assigned to the other 3 schools.

The team and I were headed to the docks now. It wasn't that far but it was still a tedious trek. On our way we all looked out for signs of trouble.

The Principal, when she assigned us as a team, said that we had the night shift as guards. I was thankful because I wanted to focus all my energy on school but the others weren't too happy...

So whenever we go out we are always on the lookout for bad things. Anyways, I decided to devise a plan "Okay, Since there are three schools I think the best plan would be that Frost take the boys from the first school, Forest take the boys from the second school, and Jackson take the boys from the third school. For the girls from the first, second and third; going in this order; Sam, Riley, and I" Sam spoke up "So you decided to give the girls to the gays guys" I cracked a smile and replied "Yep" and of course Riley decided to start whining "But now I won't be able to find any cute guys!!!" Jackson piped up "I think it's a good plan, straight guys going with the guys from the other schools and gay guys going with the girls from the other schools" I said with pride "Thank you" we turned the last corner and we arrived at the docks.

There were only a few fishermen readying to set sail when we arrived and in about thirty minutes the ships arrived. Hundreds of kids walked off the boats and went where the signs told them to go. I had Sam and Riley waiting with me and Jackson, Frost, and Forest waiting at the other side of the docks.

When the girls finally started flocking in I asked the ABPA (Aura Bending Preparatory Academy) to raise their hands and I sent them off with Sam. Then I asked the BA (Bending Academy) to raise their hands and I sent them off with Riley. And I finally asked the ABS (Aura Bending School) to follow me.

I led them to the east side of the school on the third floor; I showed them the washrooms and their bedchambers. And all they had to do was find the room with their name on the door.

I checked the second floor and it looked like everything was going well and Sam left with me to check on Riley.

It was a disaster.

Some of the girls were all up in Riley's 'bubble' as he calls it. He was squirming and he looked over at us and screeched "HELP!!!" all we could do was crack up because a bunch of girls were hitting on a gay guy!

After we settled down we got all of the girls off of Riley and whisked him away from the 'terrible monsters'.

We met up with Jackson, Frost, and Forest in the lounge at the center of the castle. Riley told the story of how the girls attacked him; and Frost (whom was sitting right next to Riley) ruffled Riley's hair and said in a childlike voice "Awww, did somebody hurt your feewings?" Riley said whilst blushing "Shut up..." Jackson and I looked at each other knowingly and smiled.

When we were finished talking, we all split up to our dorms to change for the welcoming ball that was being set up for our new guests. I went to the east wing's fourth floor. ABA student dorms are on the fourth floor of every wing and some seniors stay on the fifth floor. Forest (for example) is on the fifth floor rooming with the one of the math, science, and English teachers. Needless to say Forest gets straight A's in those subjects...

As I walked into my dorm I was welcomed by the freshman Violet Benders. We have a lot of fun together. And since there are 6 of us we got the biggest dorm. The Principal doesn't like mixing violets with other students still...

I walked in and fist bumped the youngest Violet. As I walked to my bed I got to thinking that it's kinda sad that the Violet Benders who are boys don't have a junior to look up to...

Anyways, I picked up the white and gold dress and made my way to the changing curtains. Since our room is big we were able to install a changing room so we don't have to be all out in the open. I pulled off my clothes and hung them from the hooks and then pulled up the dress. I walked out and back to my bed. I grabbed my heels and put them on. The white was almost blinding.

I looked up and everyone was gawking at me. "What?" I said hesitantly. They all replied "I wish I looked like you..." I replied with "No you don't" stood up and walked out.

Tonight the arena we would all soon be fighting in was doubling as a ballroom. I walked in and everyone was everywhere. I minced over to the punch bowl and was greeted by a young Bender "Excuse me. I have question" she said. I replied "Sure" she said confidently "Is this where you train?" I said knowingly "No we have an open field for training but it's kind of in ruins at the moment so we're sending out Green's early tomorrow to try and fix it" the young lady said "Oh, thank you. My name's Allysia" I replied kindly "Juno. Nice to meet you" I held out my hand and we shook hands. Allysia asked "Why do you wear gloves?" I replied with "I'm a Violet" Allysia's eyes widened "Oh, um, I should be going" and she hurried off. I sighed and said "So much for a new friend" I hadn't hear him approach but there stood Forest; he said "It's okay, you have us" I looked at Forest and said "Yeah but you're all guys" Forest said "You have the other Violets" I said "Yeah and their all 14-15 years old..." Forest said "You're only 17" I said "Why are you being so optimistic tonight?" Forest blushed and said "I, um, got asked to the dance tonight" I said excited "Who?" Forest said "Montgomery Harris" I said "WAIT! You're gay?" Forest said "No... I'm bisexual..." I said "And I put you with the boys?!" Forest said "None of them were that exciting..." I blushed embarrassed and said "Well, why aren't you hanging out with him?" Forest said "He's gone to get food" I said "Oh, well I'm going to socialize, not that I'll make any friends..." and I walked away from my teammate.

As I walked I looked down at my feet and since I wasn't looking I hit into a hard surface; I looked up expecting a wall but I saw Jackson; he spun around and was about to say something but he stopped; I finally said "What?" he blinked a few times and said "You're beautiful" then he snapped out of wonderland "Oh my god, I'm sorry" I blushed and laughed "Would you like to dance?" he smiled and said "Yes I would" and so we danced.

After we finished dancing a team from our school made of 3 Orange Benders and 3 Yellow Benders took the stage and started out with creating a heavy mist. Some popular dubstep music turned on and they started preforming a dance shooting fire and ice. Near the end they created fire and ice figures and the figures danced with them. The ending was my favorite. They had the fire figures dancing with the ice figures and then the figures collapsed together. It was quite beautiful.

The Principal took the stage after them and greeted the students. Finally we were released and were told to go back to our dorms or there was free food in the Lounge.

I decided to head back to my room to change and then met up with my team. When I arrived I saw one of the Orange Benders who performed and decided to say good job; they thanked me and then someone called their name and had to go.

I ran into Allysia and she said "Wait right here!" and she left. She came back with a Senior I was guessing; she said "Meet my brother! He's a Violet like you!" I said to the Senior "Nice to meet you..." he said back "Terence. Nice to meet you Juno" I said curiously "I'm guessing your sister told you my name?" he blushed embarrassed and said "Yes, sorry" I told Terence "It's fine" then I felt one of my idiot teammates fall on my back I screeched "RILEY YOU GET OFF ME RIGHT NOW!!!" he jumped off and continued laughing. I shook my head and said "You little piece of crap!" he looked at me with puppy eyes and said "You're absolutely right!" then his face turned cold stone "Im not apologizing" I said "Yes you are, jerkface!" and he ran off! I was about to run after him but I felt a hand on my wrist catch me. I turned around and was face to face with Jackson. "Don't". "Fine...".

I turned back to Allysia and asked "So is that why you ran away from me at the party? To tell your brother?" Allysia said casually "Yes" I said back "I thought you were one of those people who stay away from Violets..." Allysia said with surprise "Oh no, no, no!" I smiled "Okay".

I left the party early and told Jackson I'd see him tonight for Guard duty.
