Chapter 4: First Match

I had just gotten back from the Night Duty and all of the Violets were in a circle talking. They looked up and one of them named Seggy said "Oh hey... we were just talking about you and Jackson..." I sat down and said "Oh yeah? What about us?" Seggy was about to speak but Harrietta said "How you two were getting all mushy gushy at the Ball..." I blushed and said "You all realized him and I aren't dating, right?" Bess said "Yes... but we're all going to continue shipping you two..." Sarafine said "Even if you start liking that Terence guy" my eyes widened and I exclaimed "How do you know his name?!" Karen said "We're good like that..." I shook my head and said "It's late you guys shouldn't even be up..." Harrietta looked down and said "We're worried about tomorrow..." I said "Why? Freshman's and sophomore's aren't allowed to compete yet" Seggy said "Yeah. But you are".

They were all still asleep when I got up so I decided to go to the washroom so I wouldn't wake them up. I grabbed a towel and my robe then left. As I entered no one was in it yet so I stripped and wrapped my robe around myself. I climbed in and soaked for a few minutes until I heard the door open.

I looked at the door upside down and groaned. It was Sabrina. She walked to the other side of the bath and got in. (I know what you're thinking. 'Oh my God! Why are they sharing a bathtub?!' well it's like a public bathtub so it's kinda like a swimming pool. But for bathing).

Three of her teammates were with her so they all sneered at me. I thought to myself "God I can't wait to kick their butts". Only 1 team from each Country can make it to the World Tournament. From this Country... it will be mine.

I was about done when Sabrina said "Hey. Be prepared to die today" I turned around and said "Is that a threat?" she said with a sneer "Yes" I said back "Don't try anything" she got up from her spot and said "Who's gonna stop me?" as she walked over her Aura started up. I took a step back and said "I don't want trouble" she said back emotionlessly "You already asked for it" and she threw her fire.

I moved aside because I knew I couldn't stop it. I blasted a sphere of dark matter at her and her fire couldn't stop it she hit the wall and her two teammates stepped forward. The one with the ugly green hair blasted ice at me and I stepped aside but fell in the bath. The green head was about to turn the water to ice but I canceled my gravity and went flying up. I sent another sphere to the green haired but it was interfered by a blast of dark beams. I looked over at the brunette and sent a blast again but before I could sent it off I was hit with water I fell to the ground hard and then I was hit by multiple beams of darkness. I soon could only see black.

When I awoke I was in an infirmary bed. I sat up quick and a hand caught my fall. I looked up and saw Jackson. He said "Don't" and he gently lay me down "Why do I find myself saying this to you so often?" I laughed and said "Well. I've been known to get in trouble..." he smiled and sat back down "What happened?" I said to him "I... I messed up again. Everyone is always stronger than me" Jackson said "You're strong. Remember a month ago; when that assassin tried to get in but you stopped him while the rest of us came to finish him off?" I nodded "Yeah. But... I ended up here again. You guys didn't" I ended the conversation by saying "Who found me?" Jackson frowned and said "Terence... technically. He heard what was going on and tried to find someone" I asked "Why was he there?" Jackson (if he could) frowned even more and said "He was looking for you" I was shocked and said "Why?" Jackson said "He was going ask you out" I looked down and said "I would've said no..." Jackson looked at me and said "What?" I looked up and said "I would've said no... I don't like him" Jackson said "Why? He's just like you" I said "I don't know him" Jackson said "But..." I stopped him "Stop. Please" Jackson said "Okay".

When we left we were greeted by our teammates. "Come on!" Riley said.

We had just arrived at the arena when the second match had just started. I watched as the teams went at each other's throats. The team from the ABPA won.

Okay time to explain. There are about 40 fights a day. No classes and in three months there should be the last 25 teams.
