Chapter 10: Armageddon(Part 2)

Serenity jolted towards Lucifer. He dodged her attacks with such evasive motions. The other harbingers surrounded him in a circle and attacked simultaneously. Lucifer grudged in pain and flew outside his throne.

"Ugh, you're all stronger than I thought, maybe i should....spice things up a bit." Lucifer snapped his fingers, creating a slow time zone that affected everything within it. Serenity and the harbingers were moving slowly and didn't know what to do.

Morpheus was the only one not effected by the ability because of his illusion powers. He threw an anti-magic illusion card to nullify the slow time zone sphere that Lucifer made, releasing everyone from it's lethargic atmosphere.

Gilgamesh attacked Lucifer from behind, surprisingly delivering a massive blow to his body. Lucifer felt his strength decreasing as he fell to the ground. The harbingers surrounded him to finish him off, but he released a demonic shockwave, pushing everyone away.

He summoned a sword and looked around to strike down the first harbinger in his sight. He glared over his left and saw Aeolus. He dashed towards him and said "You'll die first!!!"

Aeolus turned around at the last minute, but then suddenly, Freyja got in between them and took the hit for Aeolus. She was impaled by Lucifer's sword and slowly died as she fell to the ground. Lucifer took a step back and said "Ha, how rude, getting in my way like that, useless little bitch!" Lucifer liftes his sword up to finish off Freyja, but then Aeolus grabbed Lucifer's sword as it came swinging down at Freyja. His hand started bleeding, but he didn't care.

"I'm.....gonna....KILL YOU!!!" Aeolus yelled. He kicked him soo hard that he flew through the sky. Aeolus, with his gift from god, jumped towards Lucifer and rapidly kicked him. It was soo unnaturally fast, it looked like a blur. Each kick was traveling at Lucifer 100 times a second, creating a vacuum around them which expanded the air, not allowing it to collapse back in. Aeolus was furiously angry and upset, seeing Freyja get severely hurt in front of him.

"DIIIIEEEEEE!!!" Aeolus said as he kicked Lucifer once more, but towards the ground. The air collapsed back in, creating a thunderous noise when Lucifer fell to the ground.

Aeolus used up the last of his powers and fainted. Gilgamesh catched him as he fell to the ground, putting him in a safe spot to recover. Lucifer used the remainder of his powers to knock out all the other harbingers, except Serenity.

"Heh, looks like it's just you left....Serenity." Lucifer said. Serenity was a little afraid to fight alone, but with her mother on her side, fear is not a option. "This...is where you die Lucifer." Serenity said.

He began to release all his power against Serenity. He shot giant energy waves at her, annihilating everything around him. Serenity defended herself with the power of her mother Ariel. She then threw a flaming angelic sphere at him. He fell to the ground and said "I'll end you!" He floated in the sky and generated a planetary sized demonic orb that could wipe out all existence.

Serenity called forth her mother and said "Mom, sync with me!" They gathered angelic energy and forged a divine bow and arrow, aiming it at the giant orb. She fired the arrow like a shooting star traveling at lightspeed. It pierced straight through the orb and exploded, destroying everything within the city. Lucifer was heavily injured and fell to the ground once more. Serenity walked up to him slowly and said "It's over...Lucifer."

Ariel gripped him up by the neck and said "Never return to this world again." She held out her hand, summoning an heavenly glaive to pierce Lucifer through the heart. But then, Serenity said "Mom, wait." She replied "What is there to wait for my child?" Serenity was thinking of another way to end this. "Hahaha...what a smart girl you have." Lucifer said as he was choking on his own blood. "Shut up." Ariel said as she tightened her grip around his neck.

Serenity looked at Lucifer and said "Release Luke first, then I'll think about sparing you." Lucifer laughed and replied "Foolish child, do you think I, the almighty Lucifer would take orders from a mortal like you? Hahahahahahahahaha!" Ariel created a halo over his neck and said "I will leave you headless if you don't do as she saids." Lucifer had no choice. He was drained of all his power and might, so he gave Serenity the key to break Luke free from the concealment.

"Wise choice." Ariel said. Serenity walked over to the bloody crystal coffin and used the key to release Luke. As the coffin started to crack, Serenity stepped back and watched. The chains broke off and the crystal coffin shattered to pieces. Luke slowly fell to the floor as Serenity walked over to him.

"Luke, luke are you okay?" She asked. He slowly opened his eyes and said "Kiddo...is...that you?" Serenity started crying. "I'm glad you're okay." Luke shed a tear and hugged Serenity. "I missed you...kid." Serenity held him dearly. They both got up and looked towards Ariel still gripping Lucifer.

"Now that he's released, you can let me go now, we had a deal." Lucifer said. Serenity laughed at him and said "Deal? Hahahaha, you're forgeting one thing that my mother told me Lucifer." "Oh yeah? And what's that?" Senerity put up the middle finger and said "Never make a deal with the devil...bitch. Finish him off mom." Ariel beheaded Lucifer and burned his body to ashes with angelic flames of heaven.

As she faded away back into the silver jar, Ariel hugged Serenity and said "I love you, my greatest treasure." Serenity smiled.

All the harbingers got up from their injuries. They walked towards Serenity and Luke. "Are you guys okay?" Serenity asked. "Yeah, we're fine. I'm glad it's over."

Serenity looked towards the sky as the sun rised. "This is...the beginning of a new life...for all of us." Everyone smiled and joined Senerity as they watched the sunrise. "Let's go rebuild this world...together."Serenity said with a smile as the sun radiated the world once again.
