Dean's POV

Castiel. I was hunting with the famous weeping angel. It felt like when you see a celebrity from a movie you saw in a coffee shop or getting food and you realize they are real people to. You never stop to think of it because all you ever see from them is what the people or the media wants you to see but they are real. They breathe sleep and eat just as you or I. Emotions fill their thoughts also and they dream in color. Difficult as it was... I've met my movie star, my knight in shining armor, my prince charming and he's running in front of my through the trees and along the river, gun in hand, escaping the grasp of Johnny Law. Short lived... maybe. Unrealistic... probably. But right now; in this moment, he was mine and we are free.

"Cas!" I said as we stopped. "We have to hide!"

"Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay." He ran a hand through his unruly hair and paced slowly before taking my hand again and running to the huge rocks in the river. He started taking off his shoes and jacket, setting them on the cold ground.

    "What are you doing?"

"Get in." His facial expression stayed unchanged.. he wasn't joking.

"Are you kidding me?! I'm gonna get hypothermia!" I put my hands up and started slowly walking backwards before his strong firm hands pulled me to his chest and drug me into the water. "Shit man it's freezing.!" The cold felt like needles and my teeth chattered as my body and mind willed me to jump out and seeks warmth. I was up to my waist now slowly dragging in the dark depths behind the partly submerged boulders.

I turned around and saw Cas walking back to me quietly. "Dean you have to be quiet." My teeth still chattered and my body still shook. Getting right in front of me he wrapped his arms around my frame and tried to calm my tremors... I would normally never allow myself to be in such a 'girly' position but the cold was to apparent and his warmth to captivating. "Shhh" He pulled me tighter. God his body felt so good pressed against mine. Just then we saw a beam of light peak from the forest edge. There were dogs barking and police yelling incoherent commands and orders.

"We have to go somewhere else they'll spot us any moment now Cas." I pushed off of him and started trudging the other way. Suddenly his hands came back and pulled my back flush with his chest- one of his hands covering my mouth he quietly whispered in my ear "Don't move or make a sound... 2 a'clock." My eyes searched and found a lone officer shining his flashlight along the rivers edge, thoroughly checking every boulder. My body tensed and my heart raced.

"I'm going to take him out cas, bee quiet and cover me." Turning back I saw the anxious and scared look on his face. "Trust me." He moved his arms from around my body and slowly sunk down until only his head was visible from the foamy water. He looked menacing. Like a deadly predator waiting for the next unlucky prey. His vibrant blue eyes still rang above the water but he patently waited nearly invisible underneath the cold cold river. I walked steadily up the river getting lower and lower until my whole body was under and my eyes and nose were barley above the water.

My body shivered but I wouldn't dare let my legs shake as I crept from the water and behind a boulder. Putting my hand over his mouth I put my arm around his neck until he was knocked out cold. Cas ran from the water and drug his body into the murky depths.

"We need to get out of here Dean! This is close.. to close, I have a bad feeling." Before I knew what he was doing he was peeling the uniform from the officers body and taking off his own clothes.

"Whoah Cas, I know we had a little moment there but I think we act responsibly for a moment." I smirked at his expression.

"This isn't time for games dean!" He was dressing in the other mans clothes now and walking into the view of the police force. "ALL CLEAR OVER HERE!" He yelled in a lighter voice then usual.

"Now we need to go Cas." I grabbed his hand just as he slung on his trench coat and we took off into the forest again. "My car is still parked at the hotel. If we can get back we can get back there we can leave the state.. we can start somewhere else."

He looked into my eyes and nodded lightly. "Yes Dean, we can still escape." As we stumbled blindly further back to the hotel.

"There she is.. beauty isn't she?" We stared at the sleek black impala and quietly snuck into the driver and passengers seat. I quickly found the keys in the cup holder and peeled out of the parking lot.

    "Where should we go Castiel?"

    "Just drive."
