6 - Getting to Know Tomas

Ok... so I don't know how to start this...
With my name? Or do I just go straight in?
I'll start with my name

Hello, my name is Tomas Blake Smith.
My mother is a dentist and I have never met my father due to the fact that he died days before I was born.

My best friends are Ambrose Crawford and Drew Blakely. Don't ask me how I ended up being so close to them because I have no idea myself.

I'll replay the story of how we met

I was five years old and I lived two towns away from the closest school. So I had to catch the bus.

I sat down at the back because that was the only empty seat there was, and sadly I had two seats either side of me.

Everyone was excited because there was a new boy coming today.

All we knew was he was five and he looked like a kid supermodel.

The girls were gushing when our teacher, Mrs Hanley, showed us a picture of him.
The boys were wondering if he would be good at playing chasey.

And me? I was wondering if I was going to actually make a friend.

So the bus stopped at its last pickup spot and the new boy walked in along with Ambrose Crawford.

People moved out of there seats so they could get the new boy to sit next to them but he didn't give anyone a second glance let alone one.

He walked straight to me, confidently and loudly. If that makes any sense.

It was like he was saying in body language 'Stuff you guys! I like gingers for friends!'

So Ambrose sat down next to me and Drew sat on the other side of me.

We didn't talked we looked straight ahead. But it was a good silence.
A silence that said 'We're going to stick together. Because we are best bro's' or something like that.

And I couldn't help but feel happy because I made a friend by being different.
