I sat by the fountain waiting. I searched the crowd of excited students, most finished with their classes. Sadly, I had to come back after lunch... Still, I looked for Valentin. Where was he? Why wasn't he here? Did he regret the kiss?
I was soaking myself in a slimy tub full of doubt by the time and hand gently touched my shoulder. I looked up and there he was.
"Hey." I quickly stood but he still towered over me. He gently tugged a few strands of my hair and smiled.
"Hey." And that was all it took. I felt like some little teen girl stuck in a sappy love story. Just staring at him had my heart racing, but it also had questions racing in my head.
"So..."
"Are we a thing?" I shrugged. I didn't know unless he knew. I was ready.
"Are we?" I looked into his eyes. They were the same golden warmness that had drawn me to him when I had first met him, but they hadn't caused this reaction.
"I think so." And I pulled him to me. This was not only confirm him on our togetherness, but it was telling everyone at school. No more night jobs. I'd just get cash for my dad some other way.
I pulled away quickly, shock evident on Valentin's face.
"Will you come with me to meet my mom and my sister?" He smiled like I had asked him the ultimate question... which I really didn't. I would leave that up to him if we got far enough.
"Yeah, haven't seen them since that dropped you off here." I rolled my eyes. He just would not forget. He started to say something else, but I didn't want to hear it. He was ruining the sweet mood so I pressed my lips on his once again and instead of pulling back, I forced my tongue in. It was a slow kind of kiss. A lot less passionate than the one in the bathroom which sounded gross no that I thought about it. Still, I kissed him slowly and deeply until I couldn't take it anymore and soon quickened our pace into something hot and heavy. We pulled apart for a short moment to see and audience before us.
"Yeah!" I glanced over to see Lena. "I told y'all that you looked like a couple." And then I went back in for thirds.

Thanks to me pretty much giving up on English and math..... I haven't been on here cause I'm grounded, they just think I'm innocently working on English assignments and I'm bring my laptop to school so yeah, more chapters per a story!
