I couldn't breathe. I could barely even move. I was too weak. I struggled as I lifted my head slightly to see Bonnie and Lara walking past the entrance to the alleyway, looking for me. I tried to yell out, but the sound that came out was quiet and weak. "Guys... Lara, Bonnie." They came back past and looked in the alleyway. When they saw me lying limp on the ground, they sprinted over to me and fell to their knees. "Oh my god!" Lara exclaimed, "Are you okay?"

"Gee, I wonder," Bonnie grumbled sarcastically. "Sorry, stupid question." I collapsed my head on the ground and Bonnie gasped, "Your head! It's bleeding! Oh my god! What the hell did they do to you?!"

"Cody... He punched me in the stomach. Then, Willow and Madelyn pushed my head into the bricks." My friends helped me up and we sat on the ground, looking out onto the street. I collapsed again and Bonnie ran off. "Where is she going?" I asked. "We saw Brad, she's gone to get him," Lara reassured.

I heard people running towards the alley. "Oh god. Grace!" I heard a male voice yell. I looked up, shaking, to see Brad running towards me, closely followed by Bonnie. He gently lifted my chin, "What happened?"

"Cody punched me in the stomach and Madelyn and Willow..." I shivered, and pointed to the bricks, one of which had my blood on the corner. He said only one word, "Where?"

"My head," I replied quietly with a shaking voice. He softly used his other hand to push my head down slightly. He looked at my head where the wound was. "I can't believe they're doing this to you," He cried and stroked my hair gently to get a better look, "It's not fair. This is too bad, I think you need to go to hospital." I shook my head. "Why not?" Bonnie caught on to what I was saying, "My mum's a nurse."

"What do we tell her though?" Lara asked.

"Probably just tell her I tripped and fell back on a rock." There was an awkward silence until Brad asked, "Can I come? For Grace."

"Um... Sure, but my mum mightn't obligated to let you in at first."

Lara and Brad helped me up and swung my arms around their shoulders, as I was still weak. We started walking, or in my case limping, back to Bonnie's abode. By the time we got there, I was managing to walk on my own. Bonnie opened the door and her mum came out from the living room. "You guys are back early," She noticed Brad standing next to me and yelled, "Who in the world is that?!"

"It's all good, it's just a friend of ours," Bonnie reassured.

"Name?"

"Brad. Mum, Grace needs help. She tripped over and hit her head on a rock."

"Hmm, okay. Come in." Brad helped me in and we went through to the living room. Bonnie's mum sat me down on their white leather couch. She looked around my head until she found the wound. "Geez, must've been a sharp rock," She exclaimed. "I'll get the first aid stuff," Bonnie declared and then went into the kitchen. She came back with a large container that said 'FIRST AID' in bold letters on the side.

"I hope she's okay," Brad mumbled sadly. "She will be, my mum's an awesome nurse," Bonnie replied and put the first aid kit down next to her mum. Her mum opened it and got out an adhesive patch for head wounds. She stuck it over the wound on the back right side of my head and asked for me to go and brush my hair. I went into the bathroom and brushed my hair but evaded the patch. After going back into the living room I saw that Bonnie's mum had got out some bandages. I sat down and let her wrap them around my head, to hold the patch in place. Lara did jazz hands. "Stylish!" She joked. "You'll just have to wear a beanie or something to cover them up," Bonnie's mum advised. "I don't have any beanies," I mumbled in reply. Bonnie yelled excitedly, "I do! You can take a few of mine!"
