I sat up and looked over at where Lara was supposed to be. Bonnie was right. Her sleeping bag was disturbed but Lara was nowhere to be seen. That's when we realised the tent door was open. We had forgotten that the zip was silent. "Crap," I blasphemed. Then we heard shouting. Shouting that belonged to Lara's voice. What she was saying was inaudible, but we could tell she wasn't the only one there. Willow was there as well.
I texted Brad, asking him if he could hear the yelling. He responded with a yes. I told him to meet Bonnie and I outside the tents, by the campfire. We slipped on our boots and left the tents. Like we had hoped, Brad was standing outside with a torch.
We started to head in the direction of the yelling, and after about 50 meters, came across Lara and Willow. Only, Willow was lying on the ground. Lara had knocked her out.
"Lara," I mumbled, approaching her slowly and cautiously. She looked at us, then Willow, then us again and Willow again. And then she ran. She ran away from the campsite, further into the bush. Naturally, we ran after her, dodging around logs,
stumps and trees. We thought that we could calm her down enough for her to come back to the campsite and head to sleep. Unfortunately, that didn't happen.

When we had caught up, she was just sitting on the ground, her face in her palms, facing us. She looked up, and her expression wasn't quite as we expected. She was smirking.
Bonnie trod towards her carefully and asked if she was okay. That was when it all went wrong.
Two hands wrapped around my arms and pulled me back. Brad cried out as he was also restrained, as did Bonnie.
"Lara, what the hell is going on?" I yelled in fear.
Cody stepped out from behind a large gumtree. "What do you think's going on?" He asked rhetorically.
Lara stood up, still smirking. "Oh my god, it is so hard to pretend to like you all the time. And guess what? Now I won't have to," She taunted as Cody pulled a knife from his trouser pocket.
"You... betrayed me, Lara?" I asked with an arid throat.
"Isn't it obvious? I've been betraying you this whole time. The video didn't record for some reason? I never pressed the record button. And at the shop when you got caught eavesdropping because I was looking around the corner? It was my full intention to get you caught. Gosh, you're stupid sometimes for someone so freakishly smart."
I was lost for words. She did all of that on purpose? I didn't want to accept that it was true. But by what was happening at that moment, I think I was forced to.
"Oh, look at that," Cody teased. "Stabbed twice in the same night. Backstabbed by Lara and soon to be literally stabbed by me. Funny how things work out."
Brad spoke up. "Yeah, but what if we scream? Won't that foil your plan?"
"Not a chance. Weren't you paying attention with the muesli bars? Everyone feels really sleepy all of a sudden, but you three suddenly feel really awake?"
"How?"
"Spoilers." As he said that, he walked over to me, brushing his fingers along the blunt side of the knife, and leant in close my ear to whisper something. "Atropa Belladonna. Deadly nightshade berries." I gasped. A berry that if eaten in the right amount, can put you to sleep so nothing can wake you up except the charcoal dust from the campfire, but only when it been there long enough to take effect. I have to give it to him, it was genius. "As for yours, a crap tonne of caffeine." He leant away with a sly little grin on his face. He pressed one finger to his lips and raised the knife. Simultaneously, I heard Bonnie and Brad yell, "No!" And heard them trying to wrestle the people restraining them, but they didn't succeed. Willow and Madelyn let go of my arms and whispered, "Say goodbye." Then, just like that, Cody plunged the knife into my chest and I fell to the ground.
The stab hurt a lot more than I thought it would; I was trying not to scream in pain. At least I didn't die straight away. Bonnie and Brad were let go and they came running towards me. They fell to their knees next to me, tears burning down their faces. "Grace," Bonnie mumbled. "You can't die now. You just can't."
"Too bad I already am," I responded, my voice weak and my body falling limp.
"I have something for you," She whimpered, trying to hold back more tears. "It's a friendship bracelet, so you can't forget us in Heaven and we can never forget you."
"Thank you. Look, I want my last words to be good ones, don't I?"
"Probably, yeah," Brad whispered. I nodded slightly and proceeded to say the last few words I ever would.
"Kiss me, Hardy." my voice faded off and Brad cried out in answering.
The last things I felt were Bonnie slipping the bracelet onto my wrist and Brad interlocking his lips with mine. He did as I asked, and kissed me. And then I lost all feeling, my vision faded out, and I died.

So, that's how I got here. Heaven. That's my story. Now I'm ever so curious to hear yours.

So, here we are then. The Friendship Bracelet is officially over. I hope you enjoyed it, and let me know your thoughts on the whole thing, or share my profile with people (seriously I'm desperate to get reads on my other stories xD) if you've stuck with me through the whole story, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Grace will always be part of me (I mean, she basically is me, so I don't have much of a choice in that), killing her off was one of the most enjoyable things I've ever done. I know, I am a psychopath in writing. Also Lara. All my friends got mad because I made Lara a villain. I needed SOME form of plot twist in the last chapter otherwise it's too predictable.
ANYWAY, I'm gonna stop talking now and go do my homework (HA). Again, thank you if you've stuck with me and see you - hopefully - in my other stories. Byeeeee :D
