You and Lauren have been broken up for a bit. Lauren is trying her hardest to try to write the lyrics to "Back to Me" with no success.

Lauren look down at the crumpled piece of binder paper in front of her. Scribbles of lyrics, none that were satisfactory to her. She put her head in her hands and groaned. She's been at this for about an hour now with no luck. She looked around her empty apartment and shook her head. Maybe she had no inspiration from the lack of... actual human interaction in the past few months.

She stood up, stretching her cramped limbs and took a deep breath. She flopped onto the mattress, not caring that she was still in yesterday's cloths. She put her forearm across her forehead and took another deep breath. Her management was pressuring her to finish this song. And it was her it's solo song for gods sake! It had to perfect and everyone knew that. She's been a huge fan of Marian Hill for a while and that's what started all of this.

She plugged her earphones into her phone and listened to the first half again. Lauren stood on top of her mattress and moved her hips slowly to the beat. So good.

There was a knock on the door so she went and got it.

She was faced with a terrified-looking girl in the door way. She looked... familiar. And something clicked. Holy ****.

"Y/N." Was all she could get out.

"Lauren." Was all you could get out.

"W... what are you doing here?" She hadn't seen you in so long after the particularly heartbreaking breakup you two went through several months ago.

Your mind went blank. Why were you here? Why did you let Adam (your best friend) convince you to this?

"I-I'm here f-for you." You stuttered out.

"Why?" She looked at you straight in the eye. Those green eyes that you missed so much were flat. Not the deep green that you remember.

"I miss you. And I'm sorry we had to end that way. I feel so bad. You didn't deserve any of this." You try to make her understand.

"It hurt Y/N." Lauren looked down. It broke your heart to see her this way.

"I know. And I want to make it up to you. I want you back to me." You beg.

Something sparked in Lauren's eyes. Excitement perhaps?

"What do you intend to do?" Lauren questioned. You smirked.

"Can I come in?" You ask.

Lauren nods and opens the door a little wider for you to slip through.

"And..." Lauren trails off, expecting you to finish the sentence.

"We dance." You put on a Lana Del Ray song, knowing how much she loved her.

"May I?" You wrap your arms around Lauren's, tracing the tattoo you've memorized.

She nods. You two sway to the music.

Lauren looks at something behind your shoulder, clearly trying to distract herself.

"I just want your eyes on me so I can see you watching me moving." You whisper into her ear and she shivers. Something sparks in her eyes again. Interest?

"Y/N..." Lauren trails off.

"What?" You ask back.

"Wait one second." Lauren rushes to the table and scribbles a few lines down on a piece of binder paper, clearly crumpled. She taps the end of the pen on her chin and thinks for a moment before she starts to write again.

"What are you doing?" You walk over and put your hand on her shoulder and look at the paper. Lyrics. She's writing something.

"I have a song coming out. And coincidently, it's called "Back to Me" and I was so frustrated. And you came back and now I have inspiration all over again. This is how song writing should be. This proves... how big of a part you played in my life." She turned around in her swivel chair and faced you. She took your face in both hands and kissed you full on the lips.

You were shocked for a second but after you overcame that, the feel of those familiar pillowy lips back on yours cause you to kiss back just as hard.

"Lauren." You whispered when you two had to catch a breath.

"Y/N." Lauren said back.

"I'm so sorry for everything." You say.

"Don't be baby. We're good now." Lauren said back. "It's too hard to stay mad at your cute face."

"Right back atcha." You smile back and connect our lips again. Sparks fly but not like before. It feels... deeper, more mature.

"I freaking love you Jauregui." You said while her lips are still on yours.

"I freaking love you too Y/N." She smiled into the kiss and you've never been happier. Sexiest woman alive, here, kissing you, giving you a second chance.
