Fruit And Vegetable

Chapter 1

         A short hair,yellow coloured hair lie down on her bed. Read her favourite childhood book. She read it over and over again. She never bored of her favourite book even though it's been 16 years. Blanche wanted to go to her mother's shop after lunch. The routine for her was boring. She would go to mom's shop and take over the shop for mom,even after school with her school uniform. Blanche get uo from her bed and start cooking in the kitchen. She have a little brother,playing video game in the living room. Blanche ignored him and continue doing her cooking.
       A few hours later, Blanche finished her food.
      "Lil bro! Lunch is ready,come eat with me!" Blanche called him over. His tiny little feet rush over to dining room,a little Berry eating his lunch with his sister.
         "So,lil bro,do you want to go to mom's shop with me?" Blanche asked cheerfully.
                 "Nope! I don't want, I have to finish my game before mommy's come." Berry didn't want to see his mom's angry face.
       "Well,if you say so." Blanche continues eating.
                After that,Berry continue playing his game while Blanche was gatting ready to go.
            "Lock the door and don't let any stranger come into thr house,got it?" Blanche warned him but he just don't care about it. Blanche sigh and leave the house.
          On the way to the shop,Blanche put on her jacket and listen to the music with her headphone.
        "It's always cold in here." Blanche lived in a cold place. "But anyway,I'm used to it." Blanche didn't care.

        "Mom?" Blanche come in but the sign says 'closed' and wonder where she went. "Mom! Where could she be?" Blanche put down her hand bag on the counter and went to staff room. Then,she saw someone on the floor. "*gasp* M-mom!?" Blanche knees feel weak and quickly touch her mother's forehead. "So...hot...it's extremely hot!? Gonna take her to the hospital." Blanche immediately call the ambulance and take Blanche's mother to the hospital. Blanche worried and sad until she led a tears. "I won't cry,I must be strong."

        Blanche's mom is a single mother who raise two children in the house. Her father leave her mom alone with the kids. He never came back. It's been 20 years since Blanche was born. She never knew her father.

         After that incident,she called her little brother that mom was in the hospital.
              "What? Big sis,can I go to the shop? I'm scared *whimpers*" Berry was worried too.
              "I think...yeah,wait for me,I'm coming." Blanche hung up her phone and go get ready.

       "*sob* M- *sob* mommy... *whimpers*" Berry was just 10 years old. Blanche couldn't believe her little brother become a mature boy so quickly when he's at school but when he's with mom,he'll turn into lovable person.
         "It's okay,Berry,mommy gonna be fine."
       The snow fall from the sky,even when it's cold,Blanche and Berry keep themselves warm by holding each other hands until they arrived. The road was covered by thick snow.
             Before they go to their shop,Blanche went in to a restaurant that serves hot tea and other hot stuff(food).
                 "Let's just grab something to eat before we go to work,what do you say?" Blanche tries to be cheerful to her little brother.
        "Y-ya." Berry nodded. They sit at the comfortable place and ordered their menu and tried to relax. "Is mommy...gonna be okay?" Berry still crying(silent cry).
                            "Yeah,I'm sure. Don't worry about it,it'll be fine." Blanche rub Berry's head and think. 'Mom,I hope you're okay,get well soon.' Blanche is worried.
              After they take a little break at the cafè,Blanche were doing her work,Berry brought his video game with him at the store. Blanche write some of her diary to forget her worries to mom. Blanche wanted to visit her mother this evening with Berry.
              It's getting dark and it's time to Blanche to close the shop and go to the hospital. A few minutes later,they arrived and ask the nurse at counter.
             "Mom's room is in 306,come on Berry." Blanche hold his hand and walk. Blanche standing in front of the door and think.
         "Big sis,what's wrong? Is this the right room? Please hurry,I need to see mommy." Berry whine.
              "I know *exhale* in here." Blanche hold the doorknob and open it slowly.
           "Mommy!" Berry barge in and run like a chicken. Berry hugged his mother's lap. Blanche walked slowly and saw her mother. She was sleeping soundly. Blanche sit down and felt like she's gonna cry but she didn't.
           'Hold it,Blanche,you can do it.' Blanche mind is empty. She keep staring at her mother's pale face.
   "Big sis?"
   "Hmm?"
   "When will mommy gonna wake up? How long are we gonna wait until mommy woke up? Is she gonna be okay? I can't play vidoe game in here because I'm so worried." Berry asked so many question while his head lying at his mother's lap.
             "Well,she's gonna be fine Berry,don't worry." Blanche emotion flows in her heart that she's not sad or afraid,she just worried. Berry keep whining.
