"It doesn't make any bloody sense. I should have been able to create the spark that would help us break their spell. That's how it worked before." England says as he paces back and forth outside the school.

"But to defeat me, you drew magic from the wand I was holding. The 2ps magic comes from their music. So maybe you have to use the same kind of magic to defeat them. Or... maybe not." Prussia suggests.

"No, I think you're on to something!"

"It's when you play music that you transform now, right?" He asked them.

"Yep, our hair glows and our capes appear." Alfred says.

"So maybe the way to use that magic to defeat the 2ps is by playing a musical counter-spell!"

"You mean like a song?" Matthew asks.

"Uh-huh. And in order to free everyone who's been exposed to the 2ps spell, we'll need them all to hear it." England explains. They all thinked, but suddenly Francis gasps.

"The band competition! That's the next time we can be certain everyone will be in the same place at the same time." He explains.

"Guess the Allies are the band to beat." Yao says.

"And I believe you, Arthur, just became the Allies newest member." Francis says. England blushed as everyone cheered for him.

"So what instrument do you wanna play da?" Ivan asks.

"I might take a little too long to learn how to play something with these. I'll just sing." England says.

"Like, as in, lead singer? Cuz that's usually my gig. This being my band and all." Alfred brags.

"It's our band! And of course is the lead singer. He's the one with the magical know-how to help us pull this thing off." Yao says.

"Okay, yeah, that's cool. I'll just use this as a chance to hone my already insanely good lead guitar skills." Alfred says.

"It's only temporary. And we don't have to win the Battle of the Bands. We just have to perform during the first round of the competition." England explains.

"Let's get to learning that musical counter-spell!" Francis says.

"Well, that's just it. I don't know any."

"Aww!" They all groaned.

"But I'm sure I could figure out how to write one. So don't worry, I've got this." He said as he walks towards the school.

"Where are you going?" Yao asks.

"Well, last time I was here, I went to spent the night in the library." England explains.

"Are you crazy? We're friends now! Slumber party at my place!" Ivan shouts excitably as he hugs England tight. England just shuttered and laughed nervously.

Back at Ivan's house, everyone was in his room. Alfred and Yao were playing video games, Prussia, Francis and Matthew were taking a selfie, Ivan was on his laptop, and England sat on his bed writing in a notebook.

"Status update: Kolkolkolkol." Ivan says in a creepy tone as he types on the computer. Yao was just about to beat Alfred at call of duty, when Alfred got frustrated and turned the Xbox system off.

"Hey! I was about to beat you!" Yao shouts.

"I doubt it!" Alfred says as he rolled his eyes. "So Artie, how's that spell going along dude?"

"Huh? Oh, uh, good. Great. Thanks for letting me use your notebook, Matthew. I really like the song you wrote for the Allies." England smiled at him.

"Oh thanks, I just hope we be able to use it someday.." Matthew mumbles. Alfred laughs as he takes Yao's game controller from him.

"Hey!" Yao shouted.

"Arthur, I think I speak for all of us when I say I don't know what we would have done if you hadn't come back to help us." Francis says as he wraps an arm around him. Everyone nodded in agreement. Suddenly the doorbell rang.

"Pizza is here!" Ivan shouts as they all went to the door. England sighs as he looks at the notebook, filled with nonsense.

"Are you getting some pizza?" Yao asks. England nods, and follows him to the kitchen.

England wakes up in the middle of the night and tip toes through the sleeping Allies. He takes the notebook and walks to the kitchen looking over the notes.

"No that is not going to work..." England says.

"Hey England." England gasps as he sees Prussia walking to the kitchen. "You're up late." He walks over to the fridge.

"Just looking over the counter-spell. We only get one shot at this. It has to be perfect."

"We really are lucky you're here." Prussia says.

"That's what everyone keeps telling me." England says.

"Who could possibly need this much vodka?" Prussia asks as he opens the fridge. "Must be nice to have everyone always looking to you for answers to their problems... instead of waiting for you to cause a problem."

"Just because everyone expects something from you doesn't mean it's guaranteed to happen." England sighs.

"Well, that doesn't stop them from expecting it."

"Which only makes things harder because the last thing you want to do is..." England paused. "Let everybody down." They both said and looked each other. Prussia closes the fridge and screams as he see's Ivan's little sister, Natalya.

"What the hell are you two doing up? Don't try to think you're gonna get close to my big brother!" She hisses at them. She opens the cabinet and grabs a knife, then opens the fridge to get a slice of cake. She begins to walk away, as she glares back at them creepily, then walks away.

"I still can't get over the fact that she's related to Ivan." Prussia whispers.

"Me and you both." England chuckles. Prussia yawns.

"I better get some sleep. Good luck with the counter-spell. Not that you'll need it. This must be nothing compared with the stuff you're expected to deal with as a country in you're world." Prussia says as he began to walk away.

"Prussia?" England asked but paused as Prussia looked over his shoulder. "Never mind. It's not important." Prussia shrugs and walks back to bed. England looks back over to his notes.

"No, I have to be able to do this. I have to." He says. He puts the notebook away and crawls back over to the bedroom. He slipped into his sleeping bag and began to fall asleep.
