The Wonders of Pedgro

Pedgro's Parents

Pedgro lived in a small village with his parents. It was on the East coast of Fanatasia. No one really knows where it is. Pedgro played with his friends sometimes. He always had a passion for making things to help people.
"Pedgro, come eat."
"Yes mum, coming."

"Mum, can I go to CastleDeTomas."
"You know you can't, it's too expensive."
~Awkward silence for about 14 seconds~
"One day, I'm going to travel Fanatasia. I'm going to be the best inve-"
There was suddenly a rumble in the ground. Pedgro then realize what was happening. Every 78 years, a monster called a Creptic Hellfire. No one knows where it comes from, but everyone knows the main thing. It is the most destructive thing humankind has expierenced. It was very hard to kill. Human kind lost a lot when fighting this monster.
"Pedgro, get to the shelter, you too honey."
"Dad, won'-"
"Son, get to the shelter now."
"Yes sir."
~In the point of view of a soilder fighting the Creptic Hellfire~
As I was arriving at the site, I saw many dead bodies. At that point, I was very scared. When I saw it, my jaw dropped. It was the size of 38 men standing on one another. Most of it was covered with what looked like hardened lava. Under it, I saw what I think was lava. I realized, it's not called a Creptic Hellfire for no reason. I saw it spray fire from its mouth on the ground and instantly, 20 soilders died. I then saw a man. He was running towards the beast, he looked like he had done this before. I knew that was impossible, but he looked so fierce. While he was running, he dropped something. I ran over and picked it up, and it was a picture of a little boy, I assumed it was his son. As soon as I looked up, I saw him in front of the beast. The beast then ate him, and I was in aw I couldn't move. I ran up to the beast and had the same fate.
~Back with Pedgro in 3rd person~
Pedgro didn't know what to do. Him and his mom were crowded in a area that was very small. It was meant to hold the population almost 80 years ago, which had tripled in those years.
"Mum, is dad coming back?"
"I don't know sweetie, I hope so."
"Ok"
Pedgro realized he was most likely not coming back, but he was happy to be with his mum.
~Still with Pedgro but around 3 hours later~
Pedgro was very worried about his father. He asked his mum to go check on him, she said she couldn't. Now, the guards had said that it was ok to go outside, so everyone was walking around crushed buildings, and houses. Pedgro stopped at his house and yelled at his mum, but then saw that she was walking towards a body. He realized who it was, it was his father. Suddenly, the Creptic Hellfire bursted out of the ground. Right infront of Pedgro's mother.
"Mum, come back. The Hellfire is right behind you!"
"It's ok sweetie, I'm going to go and visit daddy. Never give up. You have so much more too you than you can ever imagine. I should've told you, you have wonderous powers. I love you, see you on the other side."
With that message, the Hellfire killed his mother. Pedgro ran to his mother, but a guard grabbed him and ran off to keep him safe.
   When he was at a safe location, he sat down and cried. He had no one left. He didn't know what to do. Remembering his mother's last words, he decided to go to CastleDeTomas and start his life over again.
