this is the journal of ashton blake. it will be the story of the rebuilding of humanity. skie was administered the cure, and he started to regain some color and his breathing returned to normal almost immediately. we wiped out the rest of the bitten and are now trying to rebuild the school as well as a few other key important buildings. elisa is our head doctor, hexicaius and deriah are heads of defence, and i am in charge of it all. nothing has been the same since that day. the world lost an amazing girl, leader, and friend, that day. so far, though i haven't forgotten Her, i am now with christina, because i know that she would've wanted me to move on. rescue operations have been successful so far and most of those we rescue are thriving. we are moving into a new world, one that is better for everyone. one thing to keep in mind as we continue to bounce back from this blow to humanity, many times fear is confused with courage, silence with strength, and scared children, or teenagers, with leaders.
