We moved in one exactly one week ago.
From the town of Foxworth to Glassy Springs.
Fifteen hours away.
I only have one sibling. Her name is Kira. She's four years older than me, which means she's seventeen.
On the first day here, a few neighbors came over and she imediately made friends.
Kira is short, skinny, has black hair that's cut into a short bob, and has chocolate brown eyes.
We're practicly opposites.
I'm tall, taller than her, even though I'm only thirteen. It's actually not that hard to do.
Sure I'm not anorexically skinny like her, but I'm not fat. Really, I'm in perfect shape, and the small amount of bulk I have is from muscle. I love to ride bike and swim.
I have long, waist-length blonde hair.
My eyes are deep blue. Kira says it looks like you're staring into a bottomless pond when you look inside them. She says they're beautiful. A compliment coming from my sister? Wow, that's new.
She's more of a fashionista, where as I'm more of a minimum-makeup kind of girl.
I carry around a pocket knife, while her perfect accesory is some sort of new purse.
I'm a book worm, and anybody who knows Kira can testify that she hates reading.
My mom's name is Samantha, but everybody calls her Sam. She has brown hair, and her eyes are as light blue as a siberian husky's.
My dad's hair is black and he has brown eyes. His name's Jack.
Where I got my blonde hair from, I have no idea. Mom says I got it from great-grandma Synthia. She's been dead for twenty years, so I never met her. She died in a house fire.
Anyways, back to my life. I don't know why we moved from Foxworth two weeks from my birthday.
All I know is I cried myself to sleep for the first two days here.
I have two cats. Fish and Mouse. That's their names. I know, I know. I also have a mouse named Kitty. I love animals, what can I say? And as for the names? I laughed when I did that, and won the unique pet name contest at the comunity center in Foxworth's. The prize was a pet bed, and a thirty dollar gift certificate to Petco.
My middle name is Denise.
Basically, this is me.
Nice to meet you too.
