Quinn hoped that no one would shoot her on the spot. She had to get Raven somewhere safe! Quinn was growing tired. Now her paws felt like four heavy stones but she had to stay alert. She couldn't rest until Raven was taken care of.
Quinn noticed that there were no humans out. Yet, she could smell them as she walked down the small paved path. She looked to her left, into the window of a building and she saw humans cowaring at the sight of her from inside. They all knew she was here. They must've ran and hid once they saw her leave the forest.
Had they called a zoo to get them? How did they even see her? Did one human see her then that one told the rest? She wasn't going to hurt them! She just needed to find help for Raven!
She gently put Raven on the ground at sat down trying to look harmless. She grew impatient after a while. Raven was still unconscious but atleast the bleeding had stopped. Yet, Quinn knew Raven's life was in danger. Suddenly, Quinn could hear tires screeching in the distance. A large truck was coming her way.
Maybe they were here to help Raven! The truck came to a stop and three men with large metal sticks came out. One had a taser but the other two were unarmed besides the metal poles with the collar at the end. Quinn pawed at Raven and looked at them with hopeful eyes. The three of them spoke to each other for a moment then they lifted up Raven, put her in a large crate, and then put her into the truck. Then, they came over to Quinn and put all three collars around her neck. Then, they guided her into a crate that was right beside Raven's.
Luckily this crate was much bigger but Quinn still felt a bit cramped. She just hoped that these people weren't animal euthanizers or something screwed up like that. Quinn looked at her unconscious friend. "Let's hope they take care of you."

Quinn sat inside her small cage. It wasn't too bad. The vet was examining her and Quinn had seen them take Raven to another room. She guessed it was so that Raven could get surgery on her gun shot wound. The humans in the room talked for a while until someone reached through the bars of the cage and stuck a needle into her leg.

Quinn opened her eyes and it took a moment for the throbbing to leave her head. Things were blurry for a minute. Then, she realized that she was in a cage. Another cage? She stood up and looked around. It was a... zoo cage.
Quinn felt panic surge through her. She raced up to the bars and looked out. The zoo was probably closed since there was no one around. She roared out as loud as she could. "Raven!"
"Would you shut your mouth? Some of us would like to get some rest!"
Quinn looked to the left of her cage and saw a grumpy looking mountain lion. Yep, she was pissed. Quinn could see it in her eyes. They were blazing with fury. Why would she be so angry about losing a minute of sleep when she'd be stuck here all of her life anyways. With endless hours to rest.
"Oh, um. I er... Sorry.""What are you? A cub? Speak you moron!"
"Heh, careful what you say. I'm trying to be polite. I could tear you to shreds. I was living in an animal fighting prison before I came here. I've killed mountain lions twice your size."
The mountain lion looked shocked from that. She spun around and stalked off to her den. Since that was over Quinn could focus on the main problem. She looked to her right and saw an empty cage. Maybe that cage would be given to Raven. Quinn looked around her cage.
It was spacious. There was soft grass underpaw. There were some trees crowded in the corner but the rest was open grass with some large rocks spread out. There was a large den made of stone. Quinn knew she'd be comfortable here but she knew that once Raven arrived from recovering they'd find a way out. If she did come back.
