Liza's POV
September 1st was closing in, and every day I got more nervous.
I sat atop my bunk reading one of the text books I was going to be using at Hogwarts. So far, I couldn't put it down.
'Defense against the Dark Arts.' The title read. I think that I knew by now that this would be my favorite subject.
"Hey Cherish, who is the Defense against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts?" I asked.
"They have changed over the years but this year, its Remus Lupin." She groaned.
"What's so bad about him?" I asked.
"He's supposed to be the best teacher at Hogwarts but I don't really agree with his teaching methods." She stated.
I felt like I was in for a ride at my first year to Hogwarts.
********
September 1st came. The day I would be leaving for Hogwarts.
Whitley, Blake, and Tyler had already loaded their luggage into our large van. 12 seats for the bunch of us."Whitley, could you get your little siblings and gather them to their seats." Mother instructed.
Whitley nodded obediently.Mother waved me over and I followed her to the backyard.
A serious look was on her face and I knew what she was going to say.
"You know there have been previous mishaps including Hogwarts, right? So, I don't want you to use any of your powers unless you are instructed to. Okay." She said firmly.
I nodded. We walked back to the van and boarded. Mother started the vehicle and we were off to platform 9 ¾.
I started to think about my abilities.
I could speak to snakes, resist spells to where they didn't affect me, and perform very powerful, and very dark magic without a wand. Sometimes I would lose control as a little girl and break a few objects or even knock one of my sisters out.
Whitley had always envied me because of them, Blake and Tyler did too. As they were mini Whitley's.
I slipped out the DADA book and started reading.
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////We arrived at the train station and had our carts ready to go standing before the intersection of platforms 9 and 10 at King's cross.
A few red-haired kids were there with a brown-haired boy.
"Hey! You brought a new one with you this year." The brown haired called to Cherish.
"Yeah. Harry this is my sister Elizabeth." Cherish told him. "I prefer Liza." I say.
He looked at me and examined my features, I did the same. He had blue eyes just like mine, and messy brown hair. Except mine was longer and fell to my waist.
"Nice to meet you." He said in a soft voice. "You too." I say keeping a blank expression on my face.
"Did you forget about us?" The two taller boys said in unison. They looked like identical twins.
"Oh, this is Fred, George, Ron, and Ginny Weasley." Cheirsh introduced.
I nodded and smiled at them. They all had fiery red hair and blue eyes you ould definently see the resemblance.
Fred, George, Ginny, Harry, and Ron ran through the barrier between platform 9 and 10. Followed by Whitley, Blake, Tyler, Ryleigh, and Kendall.
"Don't be nervous Hadlee you'll be fine." Cherish whispered to my little red haired sister. It was her first year at hogwart as well.
