My name is Shun. For all my life I've trained under the Assassins. The Templars have taken over most of China and are planning something that maybe bigger than our long war against them. I won't allow this to happen.
"Shun." The Assassin Mentor called.
"Mentor." I answered and proceeded to kneel.
"The Templars are constantly obtaining power, it seems at this rate all of China is doomed."
"What would you have me do Mentor?"
"Find a man named Daiyu, he's not far from our location. Find out what he knows and bring him peace."
"Consider it done."
I gathered my gear and weapons then headed out to find the Templar. Mentor said that he wasn't far from our hideout, so he must be somewhere in the forest full of bamboo. Entering the forest, I saw two men armored with weapons while crouched behind them, I overheard their conversation about the Assassins.
"It's going to get dark soon, what are we even doing here anyways?" Asked guard number one.
"Daiyu believes to have an idea on where the Assassins are hiding." Answered guard number two .
"Really? I thought we already wiped them off the face of the earth?"
"No before we could, some managed to flee."
"And now they're going to rise up and stop you." I added as I ran towards them, used my hidden blade, and stabbed both of them.
Further into the forest, I found my target sending guards to other locations. I released my swords and attempted an air attack but, Daiyu must have known I was there for he blocked the attack.
"So I was right after all: The Assassins have finally come out of hiding." He said aloud, releasing his staff to fight.
"Tell me what the Templars are planning." I demanded, prepared to fight.
"Why don't you make me?"
As we clashed together, I realized he could keep up with me. Every attack I threw, he either blocked or dodged them. I focused in on his fighting stance and noticed that he leaves his upper body guarded but not the lower half. I overwhelmed him with powerful blows to the point where he was balancing himself on one foot, so I kicked his leg and as he fell, jumped to activate my hidden blade and stab him.
"What have the Assassins been doing all this time?" He asked as blood gushes out of his mouth.
"I should be asking the same of you with the Templars."
"The Grand Master has taken over most of China and has expected the Assassins' return. We will find all of the pieces of Eden and control this world just as the Templars before us wanted." And as he finished his last sentence, he saw peace.
"The Templars won't have control over anything I'll see to it. Rest in peace." I said as I reached for his eyes to close them.
